I haven't really known what's been going on here for about 5 posts...

The idea of Harry Potter being released during CTYI terrfies me. I got really lucky I suppose while I was there. The only year one was relased in the summer I wasn't actually in DCU.

    though seriously >>>>>>>>eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkk<<<<<<<<

Why? You think it'll be ruined or you think it'll make everyone there paranoid anti-social bookworms?

    Or both?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 647 ✭✭✭slasher_65

As I remember it, the last time a HP book came out, only 4 or 5 people were turned into anti-social bookworms. But nobody ruined it for me...

Its sort of like the Madagascar trip about 200 of us went on in session 2 2005. A huge bunch of cuddly fun annoying the general public! (substitute the general public for the RAs who have to make sure we go to sleep at the correct time)

Aw I remember Madagascar! Adorable film.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 448 ✭✭Jack Lynch

That was good. There's always one film that the overwhelming majority go to see, but I still think Madagascar was a complete landslide. Anyone not go to it?

    I didn't!

Neither did I. And when I did finally see it, it made no sense.
The lion won't kill the other animals to eat then but it's fine to kill the fish?

I think POTC2 got 100% of S1 06 in Blanch. If not, CTYI S1 06 certainly got a good 20% of the auditorium.

AS far as I can remember, last year, session 2 did not have a big one most people went to. Unless I missed it, due to POTC2. Which is likely.

I don't think many people went to the cinema at all in Santry in S2 06.

Nope, we weren't made go, so we didn't, basically.

I appear to have aged rapidly. What on Earth does POCT2 stand for?

Well done, Aonghus. You made the right choice. Utterly useless film.

Having said that, the new Harry Potter film will be out two days after the new book. I don't know what dates those'll be, but either Santry's bookshop will be mobbed or the cinema will be.

    In My Honest Opinion.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 I would imagine.

I for example am an oldie who's just hungry and is staving away the hunger by going online until dinner.
