Whats happening? Rents are the same as getting a mortgage now.

Just had to shell out €1150 for a deposit for a 1 bed apt in Swords for my daughter.
Rents seem to be €1100 - €1200 for a decent place in Swords.

She finally settled on Applewood. Nice big, well kept, own door apartment and plenty of shops ,buses etc around for €1150. And the landlord seemed ok.

Looked at some tips i'll tell you.
Holywell is a complete kip. Tiny tiny apartments made of spit and straw and nothing around the place. Have to go a mile for a bus apart from just 3 buses in the mornings. And there is just an air of desolation around the place.
