    €25 a week which usually gets me about 130 miles in an Alfa 146

    About 300 euros a week between petrol and diesel. Mpg figures weren't an issue when vintage cars were new and petrol seems to evaporate from them when they're sitting around. I had a Jaguar once and I would fill the two tanks and after a week both tanks would be bone dry, it didn't leak, it was in a locked garage and I had the only key. It must have been haunted or else it would sneak out by itself,Christine style, and go for spins, I never figured out which.:)

    I fill once every 2 weeks and it costs about €55. I do a meagre 250km per week.

    20euro a week in a mazda 323f, does about 110miles which I *think* works out at about 25mpg, which is pretty crap for a 1.5 mazda 323f
