Feedback is a forum where people can complain about either the constantly declining state of the site or being banned from a forum for a slightly controversial viewpoint *cough FREE PADRAIG NALLY! ahem cough*, and then be derieded by a bunch of mods whos only mates are the other mods.

My view from reading it anyway.....

Sorry, but in fairness the boards beer regs seem to be in a bit of a clique.

Feedback is a forum for site feedback. This includes positive feedback, suggestions, queries, constructive criticism and the - rare - occasions where a user who has been banned, exchanged PMs with the moderator who banned them on the reasons and who believes those reasons to be unfair.

The fact that some muppets use it as a soapbox to call the moderators a bunch of nazis is neither here nor there.

'WHY AM I BANNED??!!!??!!??" is nearly as regular a feature on Feedback as "THERE'S THIS GIRL, WHAT SHOULD I DO" is on Personal Issues. And like PI, with a rousing chorus of 'talk to her!!!!!!!!!', Feedback has its own rousing chorus of 'Have you PMd the mod?'

The fact that you've decided the site is constantly declining, and that it's possible to be banned for a 'slightly controversial' viewpoint, speaks volumes louder than your presumption that feedback is all about the mods being pals with each other.

If you're such a massive fan of feedback, you'll know that the_syco's list should include:
I am banned!! Why?

What charter?

But I do not want to bother with the charter, I just want to post!

What? That's a stoopit reason! You are all nazis.

Your website does not have freedom of speech!!

Why can't we talk about a certain concert promoter?!! This is unfair and oppresses my need to express my own opinion!

I HATE BOARDS!!! (And yet I haven't fcuked off to anywhere else. Perhaps Boards is like my parents and I feel I should abuse it like Kevin the Teenager while still freeloading off it?)

(And indeed I am not freeloading! I AM TEH UNHAPPEH CUSTOMEH!)

There are occasions when users complain about a ban, or treatment by a moderator, and it is judged to have been harsh or unfair.

There are occasions when users bring useful suggestions to the forum and all of those are taken into consideration.

People ask questions, they're answered. People give feedback. It's what the forum is for.

The Feedback Forum is not for whinging like a bitch because you were banned for clearly ignoring a warning, doing something in contravention of the forum charter, posting something inappropriate (e.g. porn, spam, warez linkies, etc. etc.), calling a moderator names, not dropping something when you've been asked to drop it and so on. When it's used in that way, the user who posts gets their own special brand of feedback. Sort of how a thread in AH that the users consider to be 'stupid' will be slated in the first five responses.

As for specific best threads, I can't remember any off-hand but there have been some crackers.

Well i went to my first one on saturday and i did not know anyone i talked to devore a little because i had brought my wii in for him to auction and after i talked to him i got talking to monkeyfudge and BlitzKrieg and then others later on once i got a few more JD`s into me - ah that reminds me agent smith if your reading this you owe me a JD and coke next boards beers

Anyway my point is that if i had already been to one i the first people i would say hi to would be the ones who i know so maybe thats what you mean by a clique... but i think most people would talk to someone they knew before introducing themselves to someone new,

One thing about the BB that cought me off guard was when i arrived people where already talking and there was no big sign saying "newbie corner over here" so i was a little lost for the first few mins
