i'm thinking psv are good value at around 2/1 against liverpool tonight..
other than that, the three big teams (barca, bayern and chelsea all at home) will fit nicely into a treble for just over 2/1..

Valencia away at Olympiacos at 2.7 is worth a flutter.

    Also Werder Bremen +1 @ 2.28

I have €40 double on Arsenal & Celtic to record home wins tonight.

    Returning €90.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Celtic may struggle for the win tonight. They're certainly not value at 4/7 imo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

Just a sneaky double for Pighead tonight.

Celtic v Fc Copenhagen: Good win for Celtic on Saturday against Rangers but in my opinion Rangers are poor this season and will struggle to finish 2nd. I'm gonna go for Copenhagen +1 tonight @ 5/4. They're a decent team, top of their league, unbeaten in 5 games and better still are unbeaten in their last 9 European away games. And don't forget they beat Ajax in the qualifiers to reach the group stages. Hopefully Vennegoor of Hesselink will be mising tonight. Gronkjaer missing for Copenhagen but Marcus Allbeck is back.

Benfica V Man Utd: Reckon United @ 11/10 can sneak a victory in Portugal tonight. Ronaldos in great form at the moment and will be eager to impress in front of his home audience. Benfica have started poorly this season and their only victory has come against 3rd from bottom Nacional.

    Bet= Win Double---Fc Copenhagen(+1)@5/4 & Man Utd@11/10
    3.7/1
    Good Luck to All.

Winner Not Alright, Winner Not Alright.
United win but Celtic deservedly beat the dopey Danes to scupper the Tuesday Night Bet. Damn that Kenny Miller. Can't score for love nor money then suddenly he's got 2 in 3 days. Whats his problem.

Hey, I don't think we should post on the other thread 'this weeks champions league'
as we might as well stick with this for the whole year, i won about 35 from 250 tonight, which was pretty much secure would have won big time if either aek or milan won

    Tomorrow:
    Single: Levski V Chelsea
    Chelsea@1.4 stake 201euro return 281euro

    Triple
    Chelsea,Liv,PSV Stake 30euro return 231.44euro

    3 Triples
    Chelsea,Liv,(Sporting/Roma/Bayern) stake 7euro each return 42/61/60euro

    Fivefold Che,Bayern,Sporting,Roma,Liverpool stake 2 return 130euro

    Total stake= 254
    Potential return = 805.44
Gauranteed return if chelsea win 280

    Chelsea lose = bust,

    What do ya think?

Made a few Euros last night so now we'll have to look at tonights games.

Hard to see Chelsea fly back with anything other than a win. 2/5
Spatak Moscow to beat Sporting Lisbon @ 11/10

    €50 on these will return €147 .

I think that's what I will do but will have to do a bit of reading before I place it.

Had a Celtic/Manu double last night, so tonight im gonna do the following:

    Accumulator:
    Chelski 1/3
    Barca evs
    Valencia 10/11
    Liverpool 4/11

Barca let me down. Why is it when u miss out on accumulators the team that lets u down is usually the one you most expect to win?

Just done a double for tonight.
Bayer Leverkuson HT-FT V Sion(Swiss League) @ Evens. The Germans only managed a draw in the 1st leg so hopefully tonight they'll come out all guns blazing and stuff the swiss.

PSG HT-FT V Derry @8/13. Hope I'm wrong but I reckon the Frenchies will win cosily enough tonight.

Rangers V Molde@1/4. Rangers 0-0 from the 1st leg. Must win tonight and they'r eplaying a team called MOLDE so enough said really.

    Treble=3/1

Porto V Hamburg @ 5/6--Bet of the night for Pighead. Very happy with the 5/6 on offer. Portos recent form is pretty good and they lie top of their domestic league having won 7 drawn 1 and lost only twice (Once against Arsenal) in their last 10 games. Porto lie 3rd in the group and this really is a must win game.

Hamburg on the other hand are struggling desperately and lie 2nd bottom in the Bundesliga. They haven't managed a win in their last 10 games(5 Loss,5 Draws)! The clincher for me is they are missing Reinhardt, Kompany and Jaroliman and most importantly the excellent Van Der Vaart. Porto jave no injury worries although Boswinga is suspended.

Man Utd V FCK @1/2 HT-FT: Fancy Utd to go out all guns blazing tonight and hopefully get an early goal or two before taking off their big guns in the 2nd half and shutting up shop. They play Liverpool on Sunday so I'm sure Fergie will want this wrapped up by HT. Only danger is FCK are a very defensive side and will be playing with lots of bodies back. But hopefully the combination of Giggs and Ronaldo will be more than enough to combat this.

Cardiff V Southampton @ 5/6: Cardiff are having a great season and lie on top of the Championship table. They are quite simply on fire at the moment. In their last 4 games they've beaten Palace away 2-1 Southend away 3-0, Wolves at home 4-0 and Luton at home 4-1.Thats 13 goals for and 2 against.

Southampton on the other hand are starting to struggle after a decent start to the season. They've lost their last 2 games and have dropped down to 10th place, 10 points behind Cardiff. More importantly they're without 2 of their best players tonight and I'm gonna go with Cardiff to continue their impressive run.(Belmadi and Skacel)

Steau V Real Madrid @5/6--I'm also gonna take Real Madrid tonight @ 5/6 even after their terrible performance on Saturday when losing to Getafe. They play Steau who were well beaten(3-0) by Lyon last time out. Steau are missing defender Nesu, captain Radoi and striker Iacob and I'm hoping Capello will have Madrid ready to steal all 3 points tonight. Still though I'd treat this fixture with care as Madrid are pretty patchy at the minute.

    Pigheads Tuesday Trebles:
    10 Points: Porto, Man Utd HT-FT, Cardiff @ 4.04/1

10 Points: Porto, Man Utd HT-FT, Real Madrid @ 4.04/1

Gonna put all teams in an accumulator with small stakes as well.
5 Points: Porto, Man Utd HT-FT, Cardiff and Real Madrid @ 8.24/1

    Good Luck to all.

going with 2 bets tonite, the first bet is a bit wild:

    celtic 5/6 to win
    arsenal 11/5 to draw
    chelsea 21/10 to draw

    heres my second bet:

    man utd 1/6 win
    ac milan 8/13 win
    real madrid 4/5 win
    fc porto 5/6 win

my first bet might be a tad outrageous lol,but i fancey celtic to win at home especially with there passionate fans, arsenal tough game away i,m sure the would be happy with a draw tough place to go,chelsea think thats got a draw written all over it as both kind of know the will go through.

Looking forward to see what your doing tonight although on paper is seems tougher to perdict!
