Yeah I hate when I get all dressed up and then wtf.. I got pinkeye.. and ****ing crumbs all down my lapel. Dude I would clean it off but if I kept it, maybe after I'm gone some bird will live longer cos it'll peck the crumbs off my lapel. Yeah..

Damn, covered in cuts and bruises again as a result of drunken firewood gathering. Great fire though and some good deforestation to shut the hippies up, or make them start talking.

Ed looks quite scary there. Definitely possessed by the demons at the time.

I just got back from the music room, it's like a sauna in there, and playing drums didn't help. I came out looking quite dishevelled (and not smelling the best either). People stared at me. I glared at them. They stopped staring.

presumably mission accomplished then which could in a way justify a wohoo....:p

In a way...but I only posted it here as an afterthought after viewing the video, so it's neither a woohoo nor a moan, really.

****it. I was doing so well, I got through meiosis and mitosis, but then I went to wikipedia to look up tetrad (which I now know to be two homologous chromosomes with their sister chromatids attached), and somehow got onto tetrads in music (which are obviously completely unrelated).

So now I know all about counterpoint and modal scales in music, the importance of dissonance and resolving to consonance, and why the major mode is more flexible than the Ionian or the Phrygian, why the Fibonacci sequence is important to the tone of a piano...lalalalalalala, more random useless music theory **** to fill my brain with that certainly won't be on my exam, unless I decide to sit a JS music exam (yeah I checked). For **** sake.

ARRR, that was a damn fine evening. Pity about the hole in me back and the falling over in the forest. Fire is cool, not in a four year old retarded pyro way, more a "that's damn cool" sort of way.
On another note, some time ago I decided there wasn't much point in owning a 20gb mp3 player if I wasn't going to listen to it all, so I decided to do an A to Z linstenathon. The problem is that I've reached "N" and having previously conveniently forgot about the 10+ Nightwish albums currently in my possession (for god knows what reason) I got a fright when the aforementioned offending "opera metal" band popped up in the headphones. Pain and suffering is to follow to me poor ears. Following that, deletion of that ****e and an invasion of Norway. (or wherever they're from).

Firstly, commisserations to your ears. Secondly, they're from Finland. Thirdly, blaming them for Nightwish is a bit harsh after we've inflicted The Corrs on the world. I think a sterilisation programme for those that buy the albums would be more appropriate.

Think I'll invade norway anyway, as a warning shot.

Yeah, cos it would totally be the last thing Finland would be expecting!
Go for it, I'll be right behind ya all the way. Honest.

I'll just threaten them with fishing quotas. I expect immediate surrender!

Rant: frozen pizzas. There's a window of time, that i estimate is of length approx 8nm, during which the pizza is cooked to the right amount. Only during those 8nm will it not be either a) frozen or b)cremated.

Pizzas cook in time, not space. Are you referring to the distance you place the pizza from the oven? That might make sense.

Rant #2 for today: my own habit of confusing 'nm' and 'ns'. sometimes i think i shouldn't be studying physics. sometimes the school of physics seems to agree with me on that.

Jebus, if you're mixing up seconds and metres I wonder you deal with velocity, or worse.

"Decceleration is the rate of change of the area of an object while going backwards in time."

...insulting her lack of physics-related knowledge might have gone better if you'd spelt 'deceleration' right (but then, it's not like I can talk. Given the course I'm in, it's a miracle, I can construct a single sentence without a few "ohmygod"s as punctuation). And with regard to the frozen pizza thing, I've found that if you drink before eating them, the partially-frozen, gluey outside and the overcooked, melty inside tend to cancel each other out. Of course, if you haven't been drinking, I'd recommend eating food that isn't crap, sicne you're likely to taste it.

The same applies to pears, in terms of ripeness.

Yes, because as we all know, correct spelling is a fundamental cornerstone in the understanding of the physical world, that being the reason why dyxlexic people can't grasp physics (they can).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

thankfully those of us with no grasp of spelling whatsoever do fine with phy/maths :)

I'd hardly call it insulting tbh. I was going for playful mocking. Cuckoo's prob gonna do better than most in this year.

I used to be the best in my class at spelling.

    Then I turned 12...

Wandered I did into my beloved ole Ussher today only to see it packed. Get out of my library! Where were ye all during Hillary Term eh? Eh?! There was so much noise I left.

There was a guy taking my seat and a girl to the left of him taking the number two position. Furthermore I could see my fellow single-positioners ousted as well. It's okay, Claire, you'll get your seat facing the window back soon enough.

In other point and laugh moments today, I was identified in real life as Angry Banana again today by shay_562 (or whatever the fuck his nick is). Himself and Runtothehils are now Hist bitches.

In other news I called their friend a dirty Shinner today, to which she defended her (and other Sinn Féiners') personal hygene. I acknowledged this, and went on to publically congratulate the prison service on imposing such standards on the convicts. *evil grin*

Wow, that post is all very foreign to me: I obviously didn't spend enough time pestering you today. However, I do agree that the libraries are becoming very (read: "too") busy.

My poor glasses are in bits. I'm missing a nosegrip, the earpiece is falling off on one side and the lenses are scratched to ****. And I can't afford new ones (unless I want horrible granny glasses).

That's where you can get free cash, but where are some other sites with sponsorships and such? It's hard to make cash on scholarships that disallow working. Help a brother out. Post it up!
Are you saying you'll pay for my glasses? Oh thank you, automated spamming bot!

I just pass through from the Berkeley to the Lecky now and again, i.e., when it's raining (like today).
