Damn you IITAC and your non-working nodes!
"hmm, but if he's constantly accelerating and decelerating that surely will affect it".

Maybe (assuming the girl is doing all the work) that's why women sometimes complain about stamina. :p

Had to zip that script file to preserve permissions :/
They changed back to rw- even after chmod in ftp..

Anyway, don't run this script. Really. I'm just posting it because I spent ages working all the little niggles out of it.
    #!/bin/bash
    sudo mkdir /BootPicture
    cd ~/Desktop
    echo "Downloading file:"
    curl -O# http://innealtoir.com/baza210/boot_fix.zip
    echo "Unzipping file"
    unzip -q -d boot_fix boot_fix.zip
    sleep 1
echo "Backing up your /boot file to your home folder"
    sudo cp /boot ~/
    sleep 1
    echo "Moving extracted files"
    sudo mv boot_fix/boot /
    sudo mv boot_fix/BootPicture/* /BootPicture
    sleep 1
    echo "Setting image size:"
    sudo /BootPicture/SetupBootPicture 800 600
    sleep 1
    echo "Repairing permissions"
    sudo chmod -R 755 /boot
    sudo chmod -R 755 /BootPicture/*
    sudo chown root:wheel /boot
    sudo chown root:wheel /BootPicture/*
    echo "Cleaning up"
    rm -rf boot_fix boot_fix.zip command.zip
echo "Finished. This window will close in 5 seconds"
    sleep 5
    killall Terminal

"Why do you wish to undertake this programme?"

Em...I dunno what else to do.

I think I may need to work on it some more.

    Stupid man-flu.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,510 ✭✭✭Tricity Bendix

    What is man-flu?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,163 ✭✭✭✭Boston

Its the type of flu which is 100 times worse then anything a woman could possibly experience, including child birth.

    Yes, 24 hours.

    Except Christmas Day.

I hate when people say "OMG I HAV THE FLUUU".

You clearly never had the REAL flu, you would be in bed right now, with no energy, sweating and shivvering. It's horrible, as horrible as the clap.

If you have a heavy cold, then sorry its pretty ****y and horrible but you do not have the flu.

People keep asking me how my flu is, I say I don't have the flu, just a sore throat, and the reaction is: "Ah well, what are ya complainin about? You're barely even sick!" and you get nigh on no sympathy.

Yeah... whenever I tell someone I have a cold they're usually "ah you're grand!", despite the fact that I can barely move my head for the pain and I have the only vaguest grasp of what's going on around me, let alone any ability to concentrate on anything.
That said, I still dislike misuse of the word "flu". It's not the end of the world, it's just a cold.

I met Podge_irl last night in Doyle's. He mixed me up with my two boys several times, even though one of them wasn't there and the other only stayed five minutes.

And breaking up with people does get easier, but it's never easy.

I apologise. I'm not good with names at the best of times and I'd had a drink....
