I think HDTV is a bit of a waste in this early stage...also, kind of gone off consoles altogether, much prefer gaming on pc.

If I had 2 grand to blow, I'd buy myself a really good armchair that reclines electronically and massages your back and neck. My friend's father got one a few years back and it is the nicest chair I have ever had the pleasure of parking myself in. It has a load of other functions too and I think he said it cost around 2k.

Get the cheapest flight to Prague for a week-end, hire the nicest suite in the poshest Hotel, the two highest-class escorts you can find, and live like a depraved king for a night or two.

Hmmm. My dad bought one of those as well, and it spun around. He liked spinning around in it, and kept crashing into the wall. Now he has broken the springy parts in it, and it reclines at immense speed by itself at random intervals, flinging him across the living room.

Perhaps spend one thousand on the chair and the other thousand on a safety net.

1) if havent got one already, get a new phone. get one with a decent camera and a flash (you use you're phone all the time. it's worth getting a decent one)
2) get some new clothes
3) go to waldarfs just off on o'connell bridge and get a hot towel cut-throat shave and a haircut
4) go to the elephant and castle in temple bar for the savage chicken wings
5) buy a present or two for a someone or two (not randomers!)
6) buy some good earphones like the shure e2c ones (they are well worth it)
7) buy a bottle of southern comfort and drink it with coke (you'll be glad you did)
8) go out on the pi$$
9) buy a couple of rounds (above and beyond your mandatory ones of course... plus, do it early in the night when it'll be appreciated!)
10) give ur ma and da 50 bobs each
11) put €100 in a "hail mary" envelope in the bottom of a drawer - you'l remember it if you ever really need it
12) have a look in big book shop and get any books that you've been meaning to
