    If you're buying a refurb'd of any description, a good trick to keep it going in the years to come is leave a small tray of water underneath it (dead centre behind the sustain pedal). I'm not sure of the exact science behind it, but if the piano is near a window or a radiator it's recommended to help it keep in tune and stop warping in the panels AFAIK.
