    You obviously aren't into the girl if you had written off a 2nd date, it was only when she suggested it that you thought about it. Move on to someone who isn't a manipulator and start afresh, without the drink.

    guys the op asking a question in his first mail.. fair enough not really everyones cup of tea, getting hammered and going to the pictures certainly wouldn't be mine but no reason to crucify him.

    I dunno, if she was off the painkillers would she like to go to the pub. You say that she goes to the casino 6nights a week. Maybe you should take her there for a night out. Most girls i know would run a mile at the suggestion of that for a date but everyone to their own.
