Can't believe I missed this launch date, GOTY 2011.

(read the customer reviews at the bottom of the page :) )
Remindsme of the Simpsons, Bart & Lisa don't want to do yard-work

The inevitable price drop of El Shaddai begins: 29.99 in HMV.

I'm being super cheap and going to wait it out for further discounts

You sir, are part of the problem! :pac:
Also, all the Prince of Persia games are reduced on Gamersgate.com
Cheapest is The Two Thrones at €1.98

    Speaking of El Shaddai.

Both the PS3/360 versions are £17.99 on HMV's UK site. Even with £2.50 shipping that is still good. Should be close to €24

I am tempted at this price. Seems like the kinda game that could go out of print sooner that it would drop any lower.

In corks hmv I picked up brand new:

Might of magic: clash of heroes for 5eu. Ds

There was dj hero with that special controller in window for 19,00eu. Dunno if it was xbox 360 or ps3 ones.

    Hope it helps.

El Shaddi and Deus EX HR (all formats) are both £17.99 on Amazon.co.uk now.

Ordered both to get the free shipping and it came to €43.86. Pleased with that :D

Deus EX (PC) and El Shaddi jumped back up last night, £27.69 & £33.73 now.

Never knew that Amazon prices fluctuated that quickly. Glad I got them when I did.

Deus Ex is €18.99 for the console versions.

El Shaddai is €23 on Zavvi for today only, Deus Ex is €30 console / €24 PC. Some other great deals there too.

HMV in Dundrum have a couple of good games at great prices.

The well reviewed Red Steel 2 is only €8.99 (not the wii remote bundle)

    Brink is €13.99 on PC.

El Shaddia is €30 for PS3. Seems good for a b+m store.

Just posted this over on HUKD.ie

EDIT: for an added bonus use 'HUT2' at the checkout for a further £2 off.

Thehut.com are selling Batman Arkham City for the PS3 and Xbox360 with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight on Bluray for €41 or so (£36.85).
You can also get the DVD versions of the films (for £1 less)

The PC version is by far the cheapest coming in at about €30 for the game and the two blurays.

PS3 version with Blurays / with DVDs (£36.85/£35.85)
Xbox 360 version with Blurays / with DVDs (£36.85/£35.85)
PC version with Blurays / with DVDs(£24.85/£23.85)

Not too sure if any of these versions come with any of the announced DLC.

Since this is thehut.com we're talking about, I wouldn't be hoping for delivery on launch day but if you dont mind waiting a little while after launch and are in the market for a cheap game with some blurays, then this is right up your alley. The Hut had already some of the cheapest prices around for this game on it's own but with the Blurays/DVDs thrown in for an extra £1 or so this is a steal.

Not actually good deals at all.

    I smell a Gamestop employee.

The deals arent that bad at all. Especially not bad enough to be accusing someone of shilling their company without proof.

They're actually pretty good for those people out there who dont have access to a credit card and prefer to buy locally. Granted, there are cheaper alternatives online but they could be good for some people out there.

By the way, the text is a copy and paste from an email I received too.

Stinks when the deal is actually cheaper on the companies own web site :pac:

Would be cheaper even if you eat the fees on a pre-pay visa card / O2 money card .... hint hint ;)

Was in Harvey Normans in Swords and they have a basket of PS3 Move controllers for €20. Not a mega bargain but there normally 20+ even online.

I'm about to buy an Xbox 360 and my main priority was a good new football game and Fable 3.

I haven't been a gamer for a good 5-6 years now, so have missed all progress and updates with each franchise.

    Currently looking at a 250GB 360 with Fifa 12 and Fable 3 (and a football?) for €249.99.

That's the best I've seen online for 2 new games... is that a good price?

My only real concern is that I was always a PES guy, not a FIFA guy, but I'm a lot more casual with games now so I'm sure I'll be fine.

Also found Dead or Alive 4 on there 2nd hand for €6, just to add another game.

Oh and is €42 for F1 2011 a good price? Wouldn't mind adding an F1 game.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Prices

If you're curious as to whether $$$ is a good price for a game, pop it into http://www.gamestracker.com/ Make sure you choose Ireland as your country and it'll give you the current cheapest price for said game online by comparing various online shops. :D They usually won't have the bargains listed in this thread but it's great for checking otherwise.
