How is it annoying? Nobody is forcing you to join?

I'd imagine its popularity has come in a kind of snowball effect. Most of my mates have joined up to keep in touch now that we're all finishing college.

Its mega gay. All the birds i hang around with never shut up about it. We can't go out anymore with out one of them whipping out a digital camera and getting pics for their poxy bebo.

It's annoying and i hope it dies an awfull death. (I hope a hardback diary company takes them to court)

i'm very easily annoyed. mostly by spam. i joined because my buddy told me to do his quiz and then got the **** spammed out of my gmail. i dont really like the site itself anyway.

I'm on Bebo, its ok but the pages are boring. I think its a good way for people who dont know too much about computers to stay in touch. I still prefer myspace.
I dont know how it's addictive though! I log on once a day check messages and log off.

That's the worst part of it - the spam is atrocious. Feck!n "you have 3 million new emails" every time you log on to msn.

Is it the "New Comment" e-mails or actual spam? I haven't got any actual "spam" since I joined and I'm pretty sure you can turn the others on/off in your bebo settings.

I refuse to get invovled with Bebo! It's taken over too many lives already! And I don't like the way anyone can see pictures of anyone else. Everyone has a friend who has a friend who has a sister who has a friend who has incriminating pictures of you and then anyone on the massive "friend tree" can go look at them! It's a disgrace! Im not speaking from a personal experience but I know others who have found themselves in this situation.
