I think I tasted wine when I was very young at Christmas and thought it was ****ing awful. Still do, havent drank that sh1te since my debs, awful stuff.

Remember downing a shot of whiskey when i was 13, it burned the fcukin pipes off me:D

First time utterly stocious was about 15 at a youth disco, polished off the best part of a 70cl Smirnoff and fell hea first off a bus (before this Id just had the odd can or two and got slightly tipsy, I wasnt mad into drinking till I was 15 or 16)

Now Im a lean mean drinkin machine. Despite my 10 stone frame it takes a good amount to topple me (afaik Ive never fallen asleep in public drunk, which is good)

Sherry. When I was 9 and it was during the school holidays my Mum went out for a short walk. When she returned I was sitting down reading the newspaper (lol) having a rather generous glass of sherry which I'd poured myself. She asked me what the hell I thought I was doing and I answered her haughtily "I fancied a drink...." :D Much shouting and "you just wait until your Father gets home" threats later I was forced to admit defeat and pour said sherry down sink. Gutted. Haven't drank it since....

2 pints of harp followed by 2 bottles of satzenbrau. Twas lovely, I was numbed to the sounds of all the other wee boys and girls throwing their guts up around me.

I must say the first drink i ever had was Budweiser, but i moved to Bulmers, but i find after 3 pints of the stuff i get sick of it, i had Guinness the odd time, i may get into drinking it again.

Showing my age a bit here, but the first drink I had was Harp - the old style stubby half-pint bottles that were in six packs back then. This was at a time when Heineken was almost considered exotic because it was that bit dearer than Harp! Had several bottles and lost all feeling in my head, but the rest of me seemed OK. Rather strange sensation.

mine was Scrumpy Jack - the classy bird that I am!!
First drink in a pub was bulmers, but could never really get into cider or pints of beer... so I went onto peach schnapps and all other things sweet, eg brezeers, woodies, corkies, smirnoff ice's for a few years, now.... I'm a vodka and diet coke girl.

    early 80s.

think it was black jamacian rum first.

then we progressed to (weekly) a lovey cider "orchard glow"
    it was red
and i think it was made in south county carlow.

    lovely stuff.

    /ds

    think it was cider...

can't drink the stuff at all these days. it plays havoc with my pooper the next day:p (and it tastes about as appealing as the results of the above)

    pear cider is nice though

My first drink would have been peach schnapps and OJ
First drink in front of my parents was on hols in France when I was really thirsty so took my dad's coke and started gulping it down - not realising it was bacardi and coke! The look on my face must have been priceless, dad laughing at me doing it and my mother nearly dying of the shock!

It was a horrible horrible day :o . Few friends and i went down to the school field to jam a little football, one of them had brought a bottle of peach shnapps. Within an hour i was completely off my head, we ended up breaking into some office and getting caught by a couple of$ security gaurds :(

First drink I can remember tasting is a Snowball (Advocaat and lemonade topped with maraschino cherries - not hugely alcoholic) given to me by my mum on Christmas morning. Can't remember what age I was. It's become a family tradition though and we still have one every Christmas morning.

When I first started going out drinking it was Diamond White and rum and coke (though never on the same night).
