Really?, the psu cost over a hundred back in the day. I figure that i'd be happy to get 1250 for the machine - do you think there's any hope?

u might benifit from HT with the apps you are using, so the intel system might be more up your alley.

i may consider leaving the 160gb WD caviar HD in it

if a pc is overclockable it doesnt always add value, as the buyer might not want to overclock @ all, depends on who wants to buy it. Doesnt apply to systems as old as the one u posted

Damn. I currently have 4x256 ddr2 4200 and really looking for something like 2x512, or 1x1gb so that I can bring it up to 1.5 or 2gb.....it's fairly expensive new so second hand would be ideal .

wasnt cheap though, i think cost me about €100 inc shipping
