Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fiat 850 Van has only 34bhp engine and lower gearing than 850 cars so it runs out of steam at about 50mph. The Amigo camper van version was 4 berth:D

Normally I hate brown, but that colour really suits it.

What about using another, maybe more appealing name like:
    Corvette Bronze metallic, or
    Dark Amber metallic, or
    Moccha,
    Chocolate
    Dark Tea....:)

    It's a '72 Merc 350 SL.
And I'm in the MB club, despite not having any time to go to stuff with a job and a new family member!

And avoid some of the less flattering descriptions of brown. :p

There's a guy on another forum I frequent with a van in the same colour and he calls the van "Root Beer"! Seems kinda fitting to me. Lovely vette and lovely colour I love all those golden brown metalic shades. The BL and BMC flat browns were generally horrible though and I guess thats what most people think of when you say your car is "brown".

to stay in line with showing that "brown" can be beautiful and posting pics of your own classic cars, here's my favorite ´brown´ private runabout: a one owner from new, low mileage "WALNUT brown METALLIC" Saab 99GL...

Here dude hows it going, ye that's rite. Thanks for the comment, I was on here and thought I would have a look to see if anyone had put my picture up. I see so many people taking pictures. I haven't been able to get into AMCI site lately. Have you had any problems. What name do you go by on AMCI.
My Corvette in the shop at the moment the Power Steering Ram went on me, oil every ware. I called a place in the UK and they are looking for £300
so I called the US and got a refurbished one for $100. Just hope it doesn't cost to much to ship.
    What's your ride?

That's lovely. I've only ever seen one in that body shape here, a red 99 turbo. I think I was told at the time that it was some kind of a special model?

Thanks ASC. The seats are the original fabric and are every bit as sumptuous as they look. You can tell the age and originality of mine in the drivers seat - the foam has collapsed and there's a small tear and some wear. You can't see it in the photo, but give me a holler next time you're up in the 'smoke and I'll take you for a spin.

@Lyre - I do remember that ad, what a car, what a pair of pins!
I've had no unexpected hassle with the DS - usual bits and pieces: spheres, exhaust, starter motor, steering rack.

It would be worth getting the foam in the seats redone, I think there is places in Dublin that do it and I dont think it cost to much
