    I love it to bits.....
Was it a silver with blue graphic and blue leather, lhd, 1977 by any chance.
Think the 77 3.0 and 78-83 sc usually fetch c.20k, depending on condition/colour. A lot of money for a 20+yo car!! But well worth it imo. Even just for the sound. :D:D

No it was a white one in Germany.

Love the older 911, yours is a cracker Kersh.

Kersh, thats a beauty man, you should be very proud.
Funny I had a dinky one in that exact colour that my dad accidentally ran over.

I hope I can forgive him some day :D

Sweeet. A man (?) of some taste, Citroën Guru. What's the truck? A Studebaker?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 49 Citroen Guru

Truck is an ex German army Hanomag. 1964 2.8 s
supercharged diesel 4x4. only done 32000km. Used regulary for work. DS is still going well thanks to your green disc DS Prefecture.:)

Ahh! I know you now :)
That's a tidy looking 2CV - is it as good close up?

I'll keep an eye out for the closing panel for the DS headlamp bucket for you.

PS: That has to be the skinniest house I've ever seen!

Anyone know who this guy is? He has been banned since (no idea why, cannot see anything wrong in his posts) but I had been sending him messages as I'm interested in buying his car, wondering why he never replied to only no notice hes banned
If yea know him or of him, could yea pass on that I'm still interested in the car! :)

Yeah - would any mods care to enlighten us as to why a staunch classic car buddy has been booted out?

He seemed to mainly post about his beetle and his desire to purcase a porche when he sold the beetle.

Hardly offensive stuff is it?? :(

Seemed that he was banned because someone thought he was a car dealer, he was selling a car (looked like the pic was taken in a dealers yard)and knew about jap imports.

I can't see that being a problem, Paul is a car dealer, has shown cars for sale on this board and knows heaps about cars of all sorts. If that guy was banned for those reasons it's very unfair. I really can't think of a better place to buy a car than from a member of this forum.
ps.. no offence or disrespect to Paul for using him as an example.

Hi Paul Moore is unbanned though I'm not sure since when!

TBH I can't recall exactly why he fell foul of a ban and it might not have been me who did the deed. Several For Sale Mods have banning powers on all For Sale boards.

    Mike.

Mmmm - he is still showing as banned in his profile? - but I suppose he should have known better - it was a bit risky painting a beetle in an Alfa colour alright.:p

Am stunned by how many beautiful cars are on this thread.
I fell in love with the 1st E9 I ever saw in 1973 and it took me a looong time to find cars I could afford.
My first is a 69 BMW 2800 CS which I found undisturbed after a 10 year sleep under the Widow's Lean-to shed. It's taken 4 years and she is still in South Africa til my wordly goods arrive in a Container later this year.

    displayimage.php?album=139&pos=1
having arrived in Ireland, the need was too great so these are my Work in Progress hobbies in Galway ,My 72 BMW 3.0 CSA
    displayimage.php?album=133&pos=5
    And the looong term one
    displayimage.php?album=133&pos=2
    Regards
    Dax
