Zak is really lovely. I'd love to be able to have a dog, but unfortunately I live in a flat, and my partner and I work all day, so it just isn't on.

About 2 years. The pics really capture his best side, usually he moves like he's made entirely out of elbows, but that's an Irish setter for you. I understand they're quite late to mature, so we have at least another year of crazy shenanigans with him before he mellows out. Haven't bee home to see him in months now, must try and do that next week...

I'm Buddy. A 7 month old wire haired terrier / jack russel (or so I think anyway)
    1.jpg
I was busted out of the animal welfare's kennel by my new owner Mark. The Animal welfare people were nice, but it wasn't home. :( There were other dogs there, but he chose me. :)

I was a bit nervous of the car and travelling at first. With the help of my blanket i'm all right now.
    :D

That's a lovely camera you have there...

    Here is my Rat.
He was headed for the canal in a plastic bag 13 yrs ago when two kids asked me to take him. I picked him up to have a look and he piddled all over me. We started as we meant to go on.

    Ooh, Loki. I like that.

I wanted to call my dog Stalin initially, but my parents were having none of it. :(

Murdoch sounds good anyway... But still...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,959 ✭✭✭Nala

Stalin sounds like a brand of stationary! Loki is cool.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,967 ✭✭✭✭Sarky

Really? I was more thinking of the despotic tyrant of WW2 Russia, myself. Russia's colour is red, see, and the dog is a red setter, and...

    Oh, never mind.

Murdoch is such a poser! :) Zak is lovely. What you guys feed them on? Their coats look really glossy.
The wee rat is sweet, great story. Looking brill for age!
Loved the pic of Uke, Meiko and Furball. Cool cats & u got same taste in names as me!

zak just gets normal doggy food, the odd sausage, rasher and jaffa cake.
He gets brushed a lot cos he loves it and he's a poser.
Goes to the doggy groomers once in a while too, loves the hair dryer. Poser Dog, but I love him to pieces.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,967 ✭✭✭✭Sarky

We give Murdoch a cod liver oil tablet every other day, as well as a brushing. Keeps him looking lovely. Until he goes rolling in... Something else...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 96 ✭✭Battlesnake

    commuterised -
Yeah I know Meiko is exactly the same! Loves the hair dryer, always sends him to sleep. Takes me about 1/2 hour to get him dry, must take you forever with Zac!!

    Sarky -
Thanx for tip about cod liver oil, will give it a go. Yes. . .dogs have a habit of rolling in . . .something else don't they!
