Saturday June 12th sounds good to me. We should probably poll it though. I dunno about anyone else, but I can't do the week before or after. That said, what weekend's the rally, you wouldn't want to have the beers on the same weekend...

i cant till july....exams and stuff like that....:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,296 ✭✭✭valor

june the 12th? slap bang in the middle of my leavin cert? no thanks.

    26th of june?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,618 ✭✭✭Civilian_Target

Oops, forgot about that. Yeah, June 26th sounds doable, just as long as it's not rally weekend....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,967 ✭✭✭Dun

A guick Google, and the rally seems to be on the 18th-20th June.

How's about the 25th? < The day the leavin cert ends.
Aww.w.... cant wait for that day!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,618 ✭✭✭Civilian_Target

Yes, but the 25th's also the day of the Metallica concert in Dublin, the day GW Bush comes of Ireland, and its not a saturday, which is generally the day that suits people the best.

so mcginleys is the venue and the date is the 26th.

Barbie we are depending on you for an indepth report on the proceedings and i am expecting reports on the pink stiletto's.

Question for you barbie, it all depends on how often you frequent McGinleys, there used to be a singer from Keadue, used to do alot of Paul Brady covers, maybe you could help with that query (Is he still playing and what is his name)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 550 ✭✭✭Barbie_666

Nanook, i can honestly tell you , that, i have never once been in Mc Ginleys in my oh-so-short life....but i will be soon!!!!!:D

its most probably Feargal Doyle or his brother John, but last i heard john was doing the circuits in newyork , Feargal used to do the leitrim in sligo and student venues, so its probably him
