On every forum there is a button both at the top of the page and at the bottom which looks like this:

. So simply go into the forum instead of into a thread, and press the button, and voilà!

You can post in the Sig Requests page under the Digital Art & Design forum. Go to the Arts menu, then Digital Art & Design. I have made a good few for people as of late, so post there with your ideas and I can work one out for you (or help you make one yourself). Welcome to boards and indeed all the other new users also.
