Wow, there i was thinking that all that "beam me up totty" stuff was a load of crap which painted star trek fans as sad losers that only spend their time talking about which of the few women in the show they would 'do', was pretty annoyed at the time. This thread has shown me the light, thanks guys

Im guessing that this thread is about crew members who are named and regular, so i dont know how you got 50% its closer to 25 % and when that makes about 3 women per show i would call that few women. So no i didn't learn anything new today other than you dont really know what you're on about and well even if you were right my point wasnt about the amount of women on the show but the whole idea of a "beam me up totty" poll.

Numbers are just guess work but they're close enough.
Next gen= 3 women and 6 men
Ds9 = 2 women and 6 men
Voyager = 3 women and 6 men
Enterprise = 2 women and 5 men

well based on those figures the average percentage of regular women in all star trek shows compared to men is 43.25% approximately so i would consider the 50% more accurate then the 25%

Well i would love to know how you worked that out? 10 women out of 33 people makes 43%??????? Sure its not 30.3%? Which is a lot closer to my guess.

who the hell cares how many women are in Star trek ..........Last i heard a good few more men watch Star trek than women so their casting for that .........plus 7 shows a seasion about half the crew needing to stock up on tampons doesnt seem that good (though it would beat enterprise seasion 1)
