Re: Leinster vs Stormers - URC Semi-final 6/6/26 1730
Rather that than be knocked out of 3 separate competitions having started the season entered in 2….
Re: Summer 2026 - General Discussion
We got lucky in south Kerry this afternoon. Hours of sunshine and blue skies, I even had a lovely swim. Derrynane Festival is on this weekend, we got washed out yesterday but today was brilliant for everyone. Tomorrow could be wet, but "two out of three ain't bad".
Re: Baked anything tasty lately?
I've baked these oat cookies lots of times, but I forgot to add the golden syrup this time. What an improvement. They have the crispy texture like Hobnobs instead of slightly chewy.

Re: Henry Nowak - I can’t breathe
The Sikhs and those on the left arguing that the knife wasn't a kirpan itself (as it was straight?) and also that since he'd another knife his religious requirement to carry one was met so the exception didn't apply in two ways to the larger knife are idiots.
All that means is he had an illegal knife, went to work wearing an illegal knife, and walked around town with an illegal knife, all in the open and all without anyone doing anything about it as he was Sikh.

The book is not in school.
It is rated 15+ so JC age or, in the context of this conversation, pretty much when you can leave school.
It's not porn AFAIK.
Schools should be more involved in teaching young people that porn, actual porn, often paints an unrealistic view of the world and that they should be aware that this is not the way most adults interact sexually, because let's face it, just like in here, some people will see it and say, oh, so that's how that works out.

I am not a violent person, but I would like to slap something into his smug, stupid face. Its not as though his answers were as smart as he obviously thought they were.
Re: Ireland Team Talk XII: Farrell's First Fifteen
I daresay there are a few Ulster players who have represented Ireland without an Irish passport in their family going back generations.
Re: Russia-Ukraine War (continuing)
That last part - the bit about Ukraine developing a viable alternative to the Patriot system - is going to be part of Trump's legacy.
Like his Kremlin idol, he burnt through a massive load of expensive missiles during the first month of Operation Epstein Fury, against an enemy that was far more nimble in its response.
Now he's shown all those Patriot customers that the US cannot be relied upon as a supplier, and left the door open for anyone (i.e. Ukraine) to come in with a better, cheaper, more readily available product.
If Asian, African and Middle Eastern countries don't need huge dollar revenues to pay for overpriced American weapons, it's yet another reason to hold/invest in other currencies.

America's greatest ally, up to their usual tricks.
