Hes playing H2H at the min. Matchmaking settings look good, you can match to teams playing with clubs the same level as you and the same controls as you. Some other nice stuff hes gone through in UT and clubs.

what happens if your PS3 gets YLOD or someting, you would lose your downloadable content. and have to pay for it again

I'll wait for my hard copy on the 28th. I know the future of games. The next generation consoles will probably be all downloads so i like to get hard copies while I can

Don't know what i'm gonna do for Pro Clubs this year, Been trying to get one going off boards but there hasn't been much interest

Anyone getting early access still needs to buy a hard copy of the game on the 28th. The early access download expires then.

As has been said before interest in clubs will take off when people actually have the game and are playing it.

Dude, you really got to chill. Pro Clubs always attracts a relatively large amount of interest. You probably wont get many people excited about it if you keep going on about it, before the game is even released too.

Why do we have to download an extra 3GB on PS3

I'm on 30% so it's no so bad, but I'd be near 50% now if I didn't have to download more.

Taking an age for me.
And I've good Broadband(I'd get about 3-4MB/s downloading off utorrent). Only on 14% after 37mins but I have stopped it 2/3 times(testing connection and altering settings).

85% after about 1:50.

UPC are getting a call Monday.
We were on the middle package which last time I checked was 16 or 24 MB. Seems since then the basic pack is 50MB.
I ran a speed test twice and got 12 and 22MB, if we're still on the middle package that's a long way from 100MB. Have had no increase in speed in two years anyway.
PS3 only gets 3-4-5MB :mad:

The PS3 test?.
That's all I can get on it but it goes through 10MB in 6 seconds on average. I'm nearly there now but it's been over 2 hours.
Stupid install on top so I'm making sure I'm there the second it reaches 100% so I'm not waiting longer.

The servers on ps3 are normally rubbish so even if you have good internet it can take an age to download.

I played over 400 games on UT last year, bought a good few packs and the best I got in my free packs was Walter Gargano

Just all luck I guess. I never bought packs with money and rarely did it with coins too (exceptions being bronze packs for some contracts and that).

Gonna pre order the ultimate edition I think and hopefully I'll get lucky with one of the packs.

for me it wouldn't be worth giving €20. I'm still going to have to pay about another €60 on Friday anyway which is only 5 days away. I'll be away most of the week so I wouldn't even get home to play it much in that time. Also i'm not one of these people who just has to be the 1st to have everything. You won't see me in line a 11.59pm on Thursday night banging on the door of my local game shop.

The more you played last year, it seems the more likely you get shafted is my conclusion after I opened my pack and saw what my mates were getting and people on here.. at least from the PS3 standpoint anyway. :pac:

Started a be a pro there and signed with Al Nassr from Saudi. The manager says he is gonna loan me out to get me some experience and Sligo Rovers came in with a loan offer!(the team I support).

Bit random, I selected HSV as my team at the start of the game. Brilliant

Enjoying the game so far. I also met a boardsie in my second online game - Gilberto_Eire. I got spanked 4 or 5 nothing!

Weird moment.

First online game I'm playing a lad called ''Oatsey'' then I message him to ask was he the poster from here.
And yes it was.
Now I know the servers are restricted to playing with other early releases only(If anyone has the retail yet) but surely there are 1000s of players online at the minute, and at a particular moment there must be 100s looking for a game.

What are the odds.... and to top it off I came across Ade_LFC_Alves playing Tiger Woods the last night, with a couple of 1000s players on at that time.

Two in three days, in random games at random times. :pac:

Got the early release on ps3 thinking it would allow my brother to play as well, but it doesn't seem possible. If he is to play it he has got to buy another ea season ticket. Bit ridiculous by EA if you ask me.

I take it your brother has a separate account. So you're saying it's ridiculous that two people can't use one pass?
