    Becoming very windy everywhere later on Saturday and Saturday night with strong to gale force south-to-southwest winds, and gusts of 80 to 110 km/h, especially in coastal counties of the south, west and north, with a risk of up to 120 km/h in exposed parts of the northwest later.

    Valid from 1500hrs on Sat 26/11/11
    to 0300hrs on Sun 27/11/11

    Southwest gales or strong gales today on all Irish coastal waters and the Irish Sea.

    The noise of the wind now here in north Kilkenny you'd think the house will blow down. If we can't have snow I'll take the wind anything better than the boring weather of late

    Southwest gales or strong gales continuing today on all coasts of Ireland and the Irish Sea. Winds may increase to storm force for a time early tonight as they veer west to northwest on coasts from Slyne Head to Rossan Point to Malin Head.
