Seeing as discussion of this is kind of lost in the general thread, I thought I'd put up another one for it.
My girlfriend has college this evening after work, so it looks like I'll be heading on my lonesome

Awh that's a shame
It's weird that they're playing in Ireland. If there's even a slim chance you can go you should try to drag yourself out as I wouldn't imagine they'll be playing here again any time soon. (I'd say this tour is just because of the whole Scott Pilgrim thing)

Just stick on a fake tache and give him some random facts to learn about 8 bit games. If questioned about his age he can then throw out loads of obscure references to old videogames. Kids today don't know about about games pre ps3/xbox 360. It's the perfect plan 0 -

Good thinking but his mother would kill me just imaging bringing a 3 year old along to 8 bit mania. come to think of it he'd love it.
Just listening to them on Myspace now and I'm totally loving it I can't believe I've spent so much time without knowing of these rad dudes...yea I said rad dudes;)0 -

They have a gameboy hooked up to a PS1 LCD screen as well. It's all controlled by a laptop and some bank of dials and swiches. It's pretty cool. They could have played a recording but instead they have the actual gameboy and NES pumping out the music. They were dead sound as well, signed Sera's 8-bit heart hair pin she made and were drinking with the crowd in the pub afterwards.0 -
