The Vera Duffy Classic Poker Tournament at the Sporting Emporium

Wednesday 19th August.


€20 "No Limit" Hold'em. No Registration Fee.

Unlimited €10 Rebuys + 1 x €10 Top-up.

Rebuy Period : 80 minutes (4 x 20 min levels).

Starting Stack : 2,000 (there will be no early bird chip).

Rebuys : 2,000.

Top-up : 3,500.

Clock : 20/25/30 minutes.

Doors open at 7.45pm for an 8.30pm Start.

The Tournament Director will have the Final say.

All Tables will be dealt by professional dealers.

There will be Pot Limit and No Limit Hold'em plus Pot Limit Omaha Cash Games available from 10pm. The rake for a €50 sit down table is €4 per person per half hour.

If you would like to join on the day of this Tournament, only a valid passport or driving licence will be accepted. The Club is strictly over 21's.


All Tournament entries (€20) and Rebuys/Top-ups (€10) will go into the Prize pool.



Vera's Birthday is actually on Thursday 20th August so we'll have to have a BIG celebration come Midnight. There will be wine served with the food at the dinner break, spot prizes (to be decided), a big cake and maybe a few songs from Tom Kitt.

After speaking to Vera, we have decided that it will not be possible to reserve seats, which means the Club will only be able to run the Tournament on a first come first serve basis !
