G-Tac in galway is the nearest skirmish site although CTG in cork might be closer if you're south of the city.

I'm outside the city by about 25mins, a place called Kilteely(I'd be very surprised if youv've ever heard of it!!;))

I've been target shooting for a few years, but actually went to my first skirmish(Which was Brilliant) at G-TAC on the 1st of this month.
I can take you under my wins but cant guarantee I wont crash killing us bot horribly and what not,lol.:)

Your not the bloke who got his gear seized by the Cops are ya ?

At some stage I am hoping to get to G-Tac with a lad from work.
No idea when though as things are hectic for me at the moment
and got a very sick girlfriend at the moment that needs tending to,
maybe in the future if theres something set up in Limerick
will drop you a line.

With regards to posting your gear. Register for a photobucket account or
similar and you can upload your pics and just send us the link
or get thumnails or image links automatically generated.

Here's my gear (more pics to be added tomorrow).
I mainly collect, have never skirmished before
(I dont drive so lacking in the Transport dept)

I tried contactin CombatZone about Airsoft days but with their lack of response i presume they are not interested. Has anyone else had any luck locally????

There not interested. Their main office is about 20m away from where I work,
I popped in there a few months and they agreed to let me bring them in some
of the gear to show them. They had no interest and afterwards did not repond
to any emails when I posted them some info.

Dont worry 'bout that too much. G-TAC is great and has many different areas. As well as that Evelyn and Martin are upgrading the site so cant wait to see what their project is.
Believe me, go to G-TAC, its worth the trip.

I dont know of any 'mucking around/training'
it would be nice to have a limerick based team but i personally dont know anywhere to practice,
pity you wont be at G-tac but there will be other chances no doubt

I can get Land but its a workin farm n no Forrest type landscape or we wouldnt be able to erect any stuff in the fields,any closed quarries around that we could get access to? get the thinkin caps on lads.

What kinda gear do you have if you dont mind me asking, is it alot or just starting, for reference ive got:

GUNS:

JG G36C avec viper tactical sling, ris grip, 'vanaras' 4x32 ACOG with EBS, and soon hopefully a troy style silencer(eirsoft permiting,:))
KSC M92F Beratta GBB Full Metal( no mag because it went mia at G-TAC:()
TM M92F Beretta ABS(yes I love berettas)
HFC M16A2
TM G3A3

GEAR:

Viper South African Assault vest(woodland camo)
Viper thigh holster(woodland camo)
M88/PASGT OD helmet
Black SWAT style balaclava
British Woodland BDUs
standard goggles

soon to arrive:

Ranger assault plate carrier vest
G&G anti-fog assault goggles
Woodland camo helmet cover for M88
OD kneepads(in-valuable)

All this and Ive only skirmished once, soon to be twice, Ive just be collecting this stuff for quite a while:D

Nah no selling for me just buying.
I have obsessive compulsive online buying dis-order.
I tend to be a bit of a magpie when it comes to collecting things.

I tend to get fixated on one hobby/interest and buy buy buy
and once it gets to critical mass I tend to find another interest.
My last interest was Lord of the rings models and I ended up converting
my garage to a room to a model room to store all of them.
Currently I am fast running our of wardrobe space to hide my AEG's from
un-suspecting eyes such as parents and girlfriend who think I am wasting
my money whats even more crazy is I dont know how I end up getting the
cash for buying the stuff as after I pay my mortage I am living off the equivalent of the dole!!! God bless and curse credit cards!

It would appear that the first sparks of a team are there, but as far as I know(especially regarding Bullets) we already have guns, that said theres alway room for more:D
