Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Personally I would rather try a different brand than support the same one after a good phone has been knobbled by a manufacturer update.

Was gonna pull the trigger on that P30 but ended up buying the new Pixel 5

My battery is still excellent after the update.

Anyone else seeing a data signal (3G/4G) as well as a WiFi signal?

My understanding is that you should only see 3G/4G if no data via WiFi. But I have WiFi connection and its working.

This only seems to have happened in last few days.

P20 Pro on Android 10 with Vodafone.

So I'm out of contract soon and considering replacing my p20pro, for those who did upgrade, what did you upgrade to and are you happy with the upgrade from a p20pro?

I upgraded about 9 months ago to a OnePlus 7t and although not a massive step up from the p20 pro I much prefer it especially with the near stock android experience etc.

I got some new update (EMUI 10.0.0.182) the other day and the battery has gone to shít. Anyone notice the same?

I'm on 9.1.0.360 and my battery has deteriorated badly over the past month. Used to get a day easily, now I'm having to charge at 6:00pm.

Had a good 2.5 years from it, maybe I'm due a change.

The earpiece on my p20 has stopped working. Have to put speaker on during phone calls.
Is it worth getting fixed at this stage? Phone is 2 and a half years old and still in good condition.
What are people upgrading too from the p20?
Will go SIM free if I am replacing and hoping to spend about €200
Gutted, as this has been the best phone I've owned and would keep going with it otherwise

Same boat as me kind of. My kid bit through the fingerprint sensor glass on mine. I can repair IPhones no bother, but the fingerprint sensor replacement on these looks like a big job. And I'm assuming the ear piece would similar. Its breaking the seal on them is the problem cause I just know it wont go back together right.

Yeah kinda figured as much. Have ordered a Poco x3 from the Chinese thread so will see how that goes. The p20 has been brilliant the past 2 years, dropped it loads of times and it still looks and works perfect. I was always dreading the day I'd have to replace it.
