Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yes

Can you type without looking at the keyboard?

Probably but it would be pointless as I'd make a few mistakes and then waste time by having to go back and fix them.

Do you put butter and peanut butter on toast or is peanut butter on its own enough?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

I only butter my toast :O

Hygiene routine is good - plenty of handwashing etc etc

Strangest thing that has happened you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,303 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Hygiene routine is very precise when out in public. My hands aren't thankful for it.

Peanut butter is vile so no to that.

    Do you eat fish?

    What time is bedtime?

    When I was a teenager

    What time is bedtime?

It should be now and was ages ago.

    What's your excuse?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I never got into the whole business of sleeping. I never stopped resenting "bedtime" when I still felt like being active. I'm childish?

I don't need half as much sleep as most people, but I usually need a bit more than I get.

Do you care about plastic pollution?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

    Yes. Very much so.

Do you remember your friend's birthdays?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

The months, I have to check the dates which Ive written down. Some friends, I remember the full birthday.

What do you reckon will be the next experimental line of treatment for coronavirus?

I sit down and think and go quiet

Is that way of dealing with things?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

Sounds good - a bit of quiet reflection and meditation is a good thing.

What languages do you speak? and would you like to speak?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Re-learning Irish, Italian and French kind of by immersion (Irish speaking partner, French friend, Italian cousin). I was never truly fluent in the last two. If I manage all three I will be content with them.

Do you value a language on its relevance to modern life or on something else?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

    I think do.

Have you a high boredom threshold?

Yeah I think I do. Rarely bored or idle.

Who do you think stole the Irish crown jewels?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    I think do.

Have you a high boredom threshold?

Yes kind of. Growing up in a boring place gives you that but I couldnt spend long in an unstimulating life or environment now.

Are you good at appreciating the little things?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,303 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Very much so. I'm lucky where I live so rural that I can appreciate so much natural beauty.

Do you prefer to eat sweet or savoury?

    Plant it
    Water it
Feed it with compost or manure
Unless you have obviously terrible soil, relax
    It will grow

Depends what it's describing. A film/show/novel definitely an attribute. A potential relationship a forewarning.

Yes, yes I do. I'd love to be going on a good session. Getting chips at 3am out of some dirty chipper in town and waking up in the morning with a blinding hangover.

How are you passing the day ?

I'd like to say yes but I think in my heart of hearts I say no.

Have you taught yourself anything new since lockdown ?

Not a new skill but I've reassessed my appreciation for simplicity in my life and I think going forward I'll see what's under my nose more without wanting to go find stuff if that makes sense.

Do you see yourself as a cold or affectionate person?

In between. I can come across as cold but I'm not really. I'm good at departmentalizing but I've had to be with the way things have played out for me. I'm actually reasonably soft and emotional.

When was the last time you cried?

Back in Feb when there was a death in the family.

Did you wake up with a spring in your step this morning?
