    White gone for 28

    145-6

Cheers lads, Dont want to jinx it but it looks like we may get above 180?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,726 ✭✭✭✭DMC

I thought 150 was the minimum needed, anything closer to 200 may well be trouble for Zimbabwe....

    151/6 in the 39th over.

    Bray 76*
    Johnston 4*

I do know that if you plug your HI-FI/ Midi System into the NTL - FM socket you will receive Radio Four & Radio Five in Glorious "FM Stereo" . . .

(Basic NTL package will suffice) :)

this is on sky sports 1.

155/6 and 221 if we keep this run rate...

Have we used all of our good batsmen , or do we have more in reserve?

how do you get 5 live in glorious stereo when it is broadcast in mono?

162/6 now, hoping for a terrible 2nd innings for Zimbabwe

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,726 ✭✭✭✭DMC

Slight issue with that, ArthurF, is that its the FM version of Radio 4, and Radio 5 Live. The match is on 5 Live Sports Extra and Radio 4 LW, which are freely available on satellite. If you have Sky Digital, you can press the red button on BBC 1 or BBC 2 and tune in that way.

Christopicus, Kyle McCallen has had useful scores in the past, while Dave Langford Smith and Boyd Rankin are not what you might call batsmen!

D/L shouldnt come into it with a reserve day set aside for rain affected games..

It will, playing conditions dictate that
12.1.3 Every effort will be made to complete the match on the
scheduled day with any necessary reduction in overs taking
place and only if the minimum number of overs necessary to
constitute a match cannot be bowled on the scheduled day will
the match be completed on the reserve day

    http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc/rules/wc07_playing_conditions.pdf

In other words, they will try to get a result today, and only really if Ireland don't get back on again and or Zimbabwe doesn't get 20 overs in today, they return tomorrow

    I think. :D

If they shorten over numbers will that mean Zimbabwe will then have to bat 42.2 overs?

We will then miss out on a late slogging!
