Was there a warning to not post links before he was banned from the thread? He didn't insult anyone and that's usually the only thing that results in an instant action.

The extreme left and extreme right are both just hateful and irrational groups. I try to avoid interactions with both.

It would be a long drawn out debate if we were to get into it, it would just go round in circles.

We'll leave it there, you can draw your own conclusion.

I'm just getting a point across.

I've a theory that a lot of what irks freeze peach hysteria comes from other right wingers trolling and winding them up.

For example the recent HSE are banning staff from calling patients love or by nicknames. All that came from right wing shock jocks who can't read a report properly. Same with Fairy Tale of New York and It's cold outside. There was another video of a woman in Russia pouring bleach on mens crotches if they were man spreading. Video was totally setup but used as if all "liberals" are for it.

Social media amplifies these views so it seems like there is some large group of people who want to ban words etc. Most of the amplification comes from other right wingers who want to portray liberals as anti free speech and irrational just to big up their own views.

You aren't getting any point across when nobody (or not everyone) knows what you're talking about. Again - would you please explain what you mean?

Simple as, some Liberals love pushing their protest to the limit by dressing up seductivly to get their point across, but yet they're insulted when someone blow's a wolf whistle or something similar.

Like gay pride, men marching around in bondage gear in public just to get a point across, but yet if someone slagged one off or mentioned the F word people would get very offended...

Do word's speak louder than actions, or actions speak louder than words ?

Yep, I remember the amount of water protesters in lycra and bondage gear strutting their stuff.

I think it's very clear at this point that the poster can't actually post their own thoughts, instead resorting to soundbites and youtube links.

I'm no fan of having alternative views censored, but they can at least provide actual debate like some posters of the past did, before they ran off to their circle jerk forum on Voat.

Links without personal input will do it as well, as far as I know.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I'd actually agree with him on that one. They're more about abusing people who stunt agree when him. But only the extremists, though.

Banned for "contributing nothing of substance to the thread other than vague generalisations."

If they were to apply this consistently, these threads wouldn't get past the first page.

Reddit banned a load of far right subreddits. So someone created a reddit type site just for them called voat.

‘Damn those liberals really hate free speech! Now let me post it on youtube.’

I watched a couple of those video's. The guys a good rhetorical speaker. The problem is that his discussions are all based on ideas that are taken for granted without establishing them. He'll even jump from a->c without establishing what b is. It's pure sophistry but it's extremely well presented. I can see why a right winger would like him.

    No, they're not.

The purple haired so called SJWs are not the extreme left. They are a mad off shoot of the left. The extreme left support free speech as am absolute right.

Don't let the anti PC nonsense redefine what extreme left and right are. Extreme right are fascists, extreme left can be anarchists, libertarian socialists on old school Leninist.

For me, I'd still consider SJWs extreme-left. They can be anarchis, libertarian socialist and so on and still be SJWs.

    Only governments can censor.
If a private company doesn't want your content because it hurts their brand thats marketing and capitalism not censorship.

I always thought that in the dystopian cyperpunk future we're headed for it would be the liberals and left wingers who'd form the underground fighting against the technocratic elite. Imagine my surprise at who's defending the tech monopolies now :D

And Libertarians demanding the government tell private companies what to do. More upside down than Orwell.

Monyleaux is a raving racist and white supremacist. No brand besides swastica flags limited would want to be associated with him.

Libertarians mostly think that monopolies occur are a result of Government intervention, so why would they put forward Government intervention as a solution?

both extreme right and extreme left both have the same authoritarian motives and desires ,however the far left have far greater power than the far right could ever dream of , the far right have no influence in media or academia whatsoever where as the far left have as much as the centre right do in these spheres and a lot more in the case of academia .

    Nonsense.

This is why left/right doesn’t work to describe political positions. There are extreme left who are authoritarian and extreme left who are anti authoritarian. But their end goal is always an egalitarian stateless society, it’s the road to it they disagree on.

The anti authoritarian extreme right are anarcho capitalist “libertarians”. The authoritarian extreme right are fascists. Both end states are abhorrent.

Authoritarianism is actually the thing I despise more than anything and I’m as left as you get.

The whole left/right thing is less useful by the day. I suppose this is my real gripe. It’s the authoritarian axis that we’re actually discussing and not the left right axis.
