Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I owe someone €€€€€€.....

Good craic tonight. I'm not the biggest fan of Karl Spain but he was actually quite good. We also had a veggie meet up in Govindas (although we didn't know we were having it at the time).

Left that lot in Fibbers. Got the last LUAS home. Sukkaaaaassssss.

surprised how good the laughter lounge was, all the acts were good but Karl Spain didn't stand out, the MC was awesome.

Excuse the pose in the first one, and the rushed blowdry, convict, non makeup look in the second one :o Also the blonde is ashier irl, not that yellow. For some reason my boyfriend's description was "badass!!" >_>

It's only natural you'd be doing the thinking pose in the brunette one and convict in the blonde one.
I will have to see blonde anothernight irl, you can take your hair and your no-make-up-friendly face to the next veggie meet :D
Haha didn't realise this was this thread. Tar should probably move my post, if he's nice enough and I'm sure he is =P

If he ever wakes up that is.

YES. WE WILL UNITE. **** YOU LOS!

Surely you should look Portuguese then? :p I wasn't drinking tonight and wanted to get the last LUAS home. Didn't want to walk in the wind. I don't mind the rain, but I can't stand the wind.

Yes, this is turning a bit chatty heh.

We only stayed in fibbers long enough to make the entrance fee worth while, then chips, then decided to walk home but was so horrible out just got taxi in the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

We should go skating first and then eat so we can work up an appetite, then anyone that doesn't want to go skating can join us for food and maybe drinks after.

well as los just wrote what I said to her, I agree with her :p
Ice skating is in town (on top of arnotts) or in rds, I think rds would be better, easy to get to on 46a or sandymount on dart. Or town if people think it easier

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,399 ✭✭✭✭maameeo

The one on top of arnotts isnt ice, just so you know.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,181 ✭✭✭✭Jim

Top of Arnotts? Weird. I assume there's one in Smithfield as well. But yea, RDS would prob be best.

    rds it is then!

I haven't seen anything about smithfield this year so I assume the arnotts one is replacing that.

Unfortunately ice-skating is not possible for me :(

But I'd deffo be interested in the food part! Any day is fine, but i'd prefer the 26th!

Ohoh. Has anybody been? I don't like the sound of this 'no ice' yoke. can't be too good up on a building?

How about hell + a drink on the staurday and iceskating in december.

    what ya mean no ice?
I think we should still have the food and drink on the Saturday anyway, otherwise we'd be putting the whole thing off for way too long.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,135 ✭✭✭TheVoodoo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,730 ✭✭✭✭entropi

This is the first time I read this properly, I just kept seeing 'nice'.

Ye I know none of the rinks are proper ice but does anyone know what the arnotts one is like, it's not opened long but maybe you know someone who went?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,135 ✭✭✭TheVoodoo

Taken from the Dublin Forum -
    Lame
I was there the other day in Arnotts. It's basically sheets of white thick plastic with dribbles of water over it. It's also tiny, if it wasn't for the citydeal.ie I wouldnt have paid 12 euro and I wudn't recommend anyone paying the 12 quid and go to the real ice ones. Also, it wasn't as advertised at all.
