PS. The video acompanying this beautiful song contains some images from the crucifixion, which some may describe as graphic. I believe all Christians share in the life, death and resurrection of Christ and images like these help us come closer to our Lord and to better understand our faith.

This is a recent release by some 'Nuns' believe it or not - It's doing really well in the charts too, and not only bought by Catholics or even Christians, it's nuns singing without music who were recorded in quiet and discovered in providence singing in worship...

It's lovely - this is the Advent version of just one song acapalla by these particular nuns - there is a new recording now called 'Angels and Saints of Ephesus' and it's lovely too.

It's nice to know that when nobody else is aware that people are singing, that some who dedicate their lives are still singing - and this is an example of one group of Benedictines at a point in time - it's nice to get an insight into what seems like a restricted life of a person who decides to be a nun....

I think I understand better - gosh, they are lovely.

There is a meeting place between those who are Islamic and those who are Christian and that is at the remains of the house of Mary at Ephesus, where Christians and those who are Islam in faith meet in giving honor - to honor a blessed lady.

I think that's pretty cool, that both call her blessed. The first Christian was our blessed Mother, and also honoured by apparently those we misunderstand in so many ways..

It's nice to know that there is a meeting point - and it doesn't surprise me that Our Lady a mere human plays that role.

I like this and the song, a wise priest once told me of the reverence many Muslims especially muslim women have for Our Lady. It is nice to see some strands of unity in this time of division we live in. Of course there is no true unity except that through Jesus Christ, but no harm promoting whatever bit does exist.

I'm not a Christian, but I do like Steve Earle's 'Nothing but a Child'. And I do find myself singing alone with religious songs on the TV/movies etc from time to time. It's not true that the Devil has all the best tunes.
