Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm off work today, so I'll train TRX and kettlebells out in my back garden although I'm tempted to throw the TRX straps into my bag and go for a cycle to somewhere excluded to train.

    Have you a Netflix recommendation?

Yes. Except from my partner who is the only person allowed in the house and he assures me he is too.

    Plan for today?

Prepped the beams in the shed for a lick of varnish

Will watch The English Game. Then go the shop; you know Mothers Day is tomorrow?

Yes. From a Senior HSE employee of all people. Luckily they were on the phone and not in person or I would be moving to the Dochas Centre very soon.

Do you think you would dare advise a person caring for someone with dementia that they should educate that person about hygiene?

You could say that! I asked for tips on how to do that which was met with silence. So I asked again, saying I would really love to know how she went about it. Still silence. Anyway, the upshot was me cancelling home help for the foreseeable future as I'm not convinced they have been supplied with adequate protective clothing. A few choice words may have been used.

Am I a bad person for that?

I'm on my way out now.

    What's your evening's entertainment to be ?

Multi choice answer. It is either ...
    A) Going to a warehouse in rural Louth for a massive rave and a gansai load of drugs followed by some 12 hours of trance music and staring at a lava lamp.
    B) Sit at home. Eat. Watch a box set on tv.

    Did you choose b?

A sounds like a good choice being honest.

Have you any good news ?

    Both!!

Ever meet anyone famous at work

I met Gary Speed (RIP) once in a hospital in West Yorkshire visiting a critically ill young fan. I had no idea who he was, though, having no interest in soccer. He seemed a genuine fella. I also used a toilet stall next to one occupied by Maria Doyle -Kennedy in a night club back before she became a very famous actor, but that wasn't via work.

    You?
