Is the head of the IRA Army Council at this I wonder?

McGregor is in there with the Gerry Adams glasses.

The state of Conlan. I get it, especially in America on this day in particular, but it's soooo tacky.

Best of luck to him though, the fight is all that matters.

Looks like the leprechaun followed by the mob

Glad this guy he's fighting is a nobody, all this drama surely takes it out of ye, just let the kid box...

This reminds me of the fight between Drago and Creed in terms of ott entrances and we know how that ended...

All you can hear is McGregor giving the instructions

There's probably a mic under his nose

That's like a bike mechanic telling an aviation engineer what to do.

So is Iba just waiting for the perfect pinch or what?

This bum Ibarra is useless. Conlan will put this to bed early enough

Looking for the highlight reel KO a bit much but got to think one of them connects sooner than later. Starting to look more comfortable end of the last round

McGregor is like that Da that won't stop shouting at an U12's match.

    Target practice for Conlan tonight.

    Oh look... a R3 win... 🤔🤔🤔

You could tell Conlan wanted to put on a show and wrap it up early, which made him lose composure once or twice but solid debut there.

Here's hoping the leprechaun gimmick is a once off for Paddy's Day though.

Imagine watching this and not thinking he's gonna be anything but a superstar. Doesn't even need to be the best. Fringe world level and he'll be a star. Top Rank will make sure of it.

That event was special for a debut.

Im shocked Eddie Hearn wasnt all over Conlan tbh. He has the potential and Hearn is probably the best promoter out there.

Not a patch on Bob Arum. He's the real deal

Had sympathy for him at the Olympics, but not so much after that.

I'l forget about soon enough, but a sour note how that went down in his first professional fight.:(

id be getting rid of him from the corner tbh and i say this as a big fan of mcgregor. Its ridiculous having a guy from a different sport audibly shouting at you from ringside

    Its the McGregor show..way OTT.
Box Nation can't stop mentioning him.

And ffs, take off the silly hat Michael.

    Dodgy as **** of course.

Anyway, first one out of the way, never going to be anything other then a glorified spar. Bigger tests to come obviously but well done tonight. Always nice to see that tri colour waving.

I don't want to get negative about him tonight so not much more I can say right now but I do have to say the way that seems to have been scripted leaves a sour taste.

"People say ‘go with the flow’ but do you know what goes with the flow? Dead fish."

    You're seriously jumping the gun.

You can't count boxing superstars on 1 hand. Please God he lives up to his billing as a pro, it's a learning process from here on in.

It can go either way in my opinion, he is given top billing tonight but he's a small fish in a big pond with top rank.

Make no mistake if he veers off course top rank will have other prospects to fill his shoes. Long road to potential success ahead

Top Rank are a different level.

Hearn's problem is he has a massive ego. He doesn't go to fighters to sign them, he waits for fighters to go to him. Top Rank are the best in the sport at taking prospects to the top.

Conlan is far better off with Top Rank. If he was with Hearn he'd be rotting away on some undercard in Hull or something.

Solid debut to be fair to him, but anyone else think ref stopped it a bit early?
