Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

, Hazelhatch, and many others are quite a distance from the towns they serve.

Actually the train station is exactly in Hazelhatch....Celbridge is simply an add-on to the name as the town is nearby

    Similar to Sallins & Naas

Galway was supposed to terminate in Renmore but a local priest at the time campaigned to have it brought over Lough Atalia into the centre.

Bray, and even more so, Dun Laoghaire, developed as a result of the railway presence.

Greystones as well, when the station was built there was virtually nothing but a few fishing cottages there. The town was built around the station.

Whereas Balbriggan was built where it was because it was the industrial (World Famous stocking making I believe) part of the Town. Nothing to do with Passengers.
