Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, I don't think so.. quite often have been on the receiving end of a very unwelcome hug for nefarious reasons.

What do you think of the unsightly election billboards littered all over the place? Does it make any impact at all on your voting preferences?

A few I find are in ridiculous places when exiting junctions.
It makes me not consider that individual in the election

Did you watch the Eurovision ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,055 ✭✭✭Fakediamond

It does, its a more human temprature so dont need to be wrapping up like an extra in castle black.

Do you understand the details of the upcoming referendum?

Maybe around the Hell Fire Club. :)

Would you rather a real version of the walking dead or game of thrones?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

I don't know, I haven't seen either of them shows. For arguments sake, I'll say the walking Dead.

When was the last time you were in a hospital?

Not sure what that would involve exactly but I'll say GOT

Would you rather lose the ability to smell forever, or take 3 years off your total lifespan?

Are you conscious about what you eat?

Not at all, I eat whatever I like. Eating is some thing you'll be doing every day of your life so you might as well enjoy it. I dont eat much take away or junk food though in fairness.

    Any plans this sunny Sunday?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Nothing yet - it's not sunny here, however.

How far would you walk in a day?

Some days I dont bother getting up other than to walk to the bathroom -if needed.

What do you think about people risking their lives to recover the dead at sea or on mountains - yes or no?

Risking lives to do so - no

When canvassers call, will you bring up specific issues with them?

Yep - focusing on rural dumping, planning permission, libraries, and urban tree planting this year (depending on the candidate).

Their position on the severe curtailment of the mobile library service in this quiet rural area and the proposed closure of a local village's library despite borrowing numbers rising in recent years. Tends to be directed more at those current councillors who also emphatically told me last time around that library services would be protected,

Are you watching any sport this weekend?

I usually do, but I didn't this year. I only have the one telly and it works 50% of the time, I feel as ... oh, I'm just making excuses, aren't I.

Did we win the Eurovision last night or what? Who won? Was it good? I hope these questions don't break my boycott.

Every morning; every couple of days at worst.

Did anyone do anything last night to object to Israel? A country-correspondent with a Palestinian flag, for example; or the brieftest mention of human rights?

I'll stop with the Eurovision questions now, I promise.

Eventually. The trick is holding them like a tweezers, not a biro, I think.

Do you say 'Hello' to your colleagues in the corridor, whether or not you know them?

I have a terrible memory for faces so I just walk around with an inane smile on my face and acknowledge anyone who looks like they might know me in the office.

    Have you a good memory?

if you won 95mill in the euro millions, how much would you give away to family or friends?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,081 ✭✭✭ziedth

I think I would give away half between charity (that I would set up) and family with that kind of money. I have a small family but would probably give few million to each household. I think I would be very generous, aside from enough to retire on and set up the kids I think I would try do a bit of good with the rest

    First celebrity crush?
