I picked up a six pack of Super Bock Portuguese lager in Lidl today.

6x33cl bottles €6.99.

At first sight it might not look like a bargain but it's 5.2% and if you want to get that cold beer on a warm day in the Algarve vibe this year it's about as close as you will get.

Plus the Formula 1 is from Portimao on May 2nd so I think I'll get another 6 pack

Only £3.99 in Lidl UK for anyone that wants to sneak across the border.
I know a few guys that will bring you in the back of a truck if you are interested.

I havnt seem then in many places, i know they were mentioned here a few weeks back.

I was in lidl and aldi last thurs and saw the smithwicks.
only problem is I can't remember which shop.
I'll be in aldi this evening, I'll post if I see them

Bulmers too but I think they are the 440ml for those.

I got it in a Londis in North Co Cork, bought 2 at the time. Apparently the owner saw them in the Cash and Carry and was trying them out. They’ve haven’t been back in stock since.

I picked up a slab earlier.

Not the cheapest it’s been but still €1.25 is still pretty damn cheap.

Thanks for this, got a litre of Gordon's and I noticed the Beefeater flavoured is 21 each as well. I thought why pay for less?
Bulmers 440ml for 24 euro, very little stock and no other slabs from what I could see. I presume they will have more by next weekend.

I don't like tonic. I use sugar free lemon and lime or the cloudy lemonade from Tesco. If I can't get that I use red TK lemonade or the lemonade from Lidl and lastly maybe the bitter lemon from Lidl.

12 bottles of cobra beer 330ml bottles advertised as on offer at €13 in supervalu. Went to three shops yesterday none of them had heard of the promotion and none had stock on the floor or out the back. Usual nonsense.

Bit the bullet and got 2 packs of Heineken f €24 each from Dunnes. Would of preferred Carlsberg but sure not much difference and it was a great price
