I dont use soup recipes, i grab whatever i have lying around and throw it in a pot, boil until veg are soft and blend. soup is the easist thing in the world

but this is what i done

    Ingredients:
use whatever vegetables are in your fridge - this batch has

potato, turnip, cabbage, carrots, parsnip, leek

    Onion
    Garlic
    Herbs
    tin of Tomatos
    lentils
    pint of stock

    Method
    1. Fry some onion and garlic until golden

    2. Add some herbs (i used parsely, thyme and rosemary)

    3. Throw the veg and lentil in and stir for about 5 mins

    4. Add tin of tomatos

    5. Add Stock

    6. Simmer until veg is soft

    7. I dont like lumpy soup, so i blend it fully and it also means des has no idea what vegetables are in it and cant refuse to eat it :D
