    How is it as a day/night out?

    Course was nice, was sunny but windy. Ayr itself is a very quiet town. Most people just hopped on the train back to Troon or Prestwick, only two stops away less than ten minutes on the train. Would recommend a visit lots if flights into Glasgow, the race sells out quick enough would want to grab tickets in January.
