Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They were sold in Ireland back in the eighties to early nineties along with the Polonez.
They had a dealer network at the time but I don't know how many were sold.

That Polish Rally seems to be everywhere. They were in Kilkenny yesterday where I saw probably a dozen or more cars and vans. Best of the lot were two Polski 126's pulling little trailers.

Two passed me today on the N11 northbound around Donnybrook.

I saw something very similar to what you are describing pass me while I was cutting the grass in south Kerry this afternoon.

Beautiful tr4(?) , but the owner should be shot with balls of his own sh1te for that pathetic number plate. Those German style are ridiculous on German cars, but it should be a capital offence to put them on a classic brit.

As my late brother used to say to that line, it'd be a waste of good sh1t

Actually, looking at it now it's a TR6.

A couple from Malaga last week. Saw many others from the 80's - 90's era, but many were only seen at the last minute before I could get a photo! Think the frugal car tradition over in these Mediterranean countries has saved countless classics!

Hard to believe but you could buy a Citroen C15 in our town in Spain, brand new, in 2007. Most of my neighbours did! You see all these crusty vans pottering around the Campo but they arent as old as you'd think.

    Gorgeous little car!

I saw a certain orange Lancia Fulvia heading into Gorey from junction 22 on the M11 being driven like a Fulvia should be.

Guilty as charged, it was too good a day to go to waste so I took her for a spin between DIY duties.

St Anne's Park today. Spoke to the TR8 owner, he has it 2 years and drives it a fair bit. Was restored before. Looked lovely, clean underneath too.

What was the event in the park?
The rise festival was on and there was some sort of dog related event on with a market. Not a car related show/event

Just to correct a typo in case you did not understand it! As jozi says was just a family day out. The National Transport Museum in Howth was showing the train thing and I juess the guy just drove his TR8 there, it was not on show as such.

Ok, I'll bite. Why is the Kilfenora honda cub there?

I knew of a Honda 50, that was bought new, back in the day, in Tipperary, driven home, and then never seen another mile again. I believe it was never registered. It sat for years and years, but was sold, and possibly around 2013. I wonder if this is it.

Good spot of the convertible G wagon. They don't come cheap

    That's a 110, not a 50 though.

some photos from recent holliers in Portugal.
I haven't tagged what they are as I took so many pics between classics, oldies etc, so bit of a mixed bag. I'll post them in a few batches over the next few days.
Stayed in Estoril, about 15 miles from Lisbon. There were two back street garages 5 minutes either side of where we were staying, both seemed to specialise in older/classic stuff, so they'll make a few appearances in the pics..
