    Was in Tesco today and they said no but there is a half decent wine sale on. Bought two bottles instead of the six I'd have gotten if the offer had been on.

    Dunnes have 8 500ml cans Guinness and Carlsberg and maybe others for a tenner. Offer ends Monday.

    Prosecco is a ripoff in the South. They've gone to these lightly corked (with string) bottles or even screwtop to reduce the price, & its still too high at that, as the carbonation has been reduced.

    If you want proper (albeit cheap) Prosecco, try to get North where Asda/Sainsburys always have offers on proper champagne corked Prosecco (Asda sell a brand called Canti) at prices as low as GBP5.99

    Lidl in Terenure have 8 x 500ml bottles of Perlenbacher for €7.29 (2 free, normally six bottles), It's in a XXL yellow box so works out at 91c a bottle (1.82L), great price for a very drinkable beer, I'd say its store wide there was a large pallet at the end of the alcohol aisle with 100+ boxes.

    Note, make sure you grab the 8 pack as they still have the six pack for the same price.

    Oyster Bay sav bl €11.

    Not a bargain - just not quite as much of a rip-off as usual.

    I think this offer is over tomorrow, not sure. See they put up their prices on some bottles but they still work out slightly cheaper than normal.

    I've been buying the Gato Negro Sauvignon Blanc and Cab Sauv and it works out €6 a bottle and it's nice.
