Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I’m pretty sure I have promotional GM and Opel plastic bags somewhere at home, they are in very good condition having been purposefully preserved by someone.

You’re welcome to them if I can find them (and if you want two plastic bags of course :P)

Wanted NSU garage sign, special tool kit for twin cylinder models. Anything NSU related considered

These are for a friend of mine in Belgium, any chance you have a picture of those.

    Thank you for responding.

Does anyone have a set of staggered AMG monoblocks for sale? Preferably 19 inch, or 18 inch at a push.
Or can anyone recommend a trustworthy alloy dealer?
Some of the adverts online look dubious.

Looking for a set of 4*100 in 14 or 15 inch, for an e30. Tyres not important.
    Need to be straight.
    Small scuffs are ok.

Looking for advice on selling a LHD classic.

Belonging to a friend who doesn't do 'meedja' its a 1978 MG Midget.

    Full details here :

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

LHD wouldn't bother me. Looks like a nice car, but €6k for a Midget is top dollar.

Bring it to one of the big european shows like Essen or retromobile .Tecno classic Essen , sometimes has prices like that ..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,333 ✭✭✭w124man

That looks like a nice little MG but at that price I'd want a straight exhaust box.

I have 4 Yokohama winter tyres,
    Size 185/60/R15,
They are sitting in my shed about 3 years, maybe 200 miles on them.
For a donation of 30 euro to Pieta House, they can be collected in west cork area, or cork city.

Wanted drivers side front seat for 1989 Austin Mini 30, anything in reasonable condition considered.

My wifes family have asked me to advertise their old 1990 Fiesta van, its blue with 73k miles. Same family ownership since new (2 elderly brothers). Running and driving, have original service booklets and owner manuals etc and brown logbook all in perfect condition. Car is structurally v good, drivers side sill has some rust and a few spots around the window at the front and back.
Everything works on the car, wheels are v good and even has the original plastic wheel nut caps still on.

Im reluctant to try find someone form donedeal etc as its important it goes to somewhere that will look to restore it.

If anyone would be interested send me a PM and we can take it form there, i have detailed pics and happy to share with interested parties.

Whats a non runner w124 worth? 190, 1989, cloth interior, sunroof, 4 door, body isn't great
Id say. parked up a few years, that's all I can tell ya.
I drive past it now and again, would it be worth more to break than it's worth?

FYI the car is on Irish plates and taxed for use in Ireland - dont believe everything you see in a photo - and of course - NEVER miss a chance to get on a high horse

Just for the record I'm not making any connection with your ad either.

You clearly state in the ad that the car is cleared on Irish plates, taxed and tested.

Beautiful car. I am surprised at how good the mpg is for a 4 litre.

My old camper was doing less mpg than that.

    Nice.

Ad states 25MPG @120km/h which is completely believable. At that speed the size of the engine and even the weight of the vehicle is not that important but the aerodynamics are. And that's where your camper failed :p

I had a 90s BMW 7-series 4l V8 petrol as my main car for years and it did over 30MPG @120km/h. Unfortunately, most of my driving was in Dublin with a commute so overall I averaged about 15-20MPG

Well, sort of trying to sell it anyway

My son was at a special effects convention in the Titanic centre in Belfast in 2016 with a display, and there was a De Lorean in the show as well.

Not too sure whether the guys were from north or south.

But the centre should be able to put you in contact hopefully.

I have (what appears to be) a complete collection of On the Road magazines from the late 1970s/early 80s. The magazines are in binders and in great condition. My uncle gave them to me years ago but I've no need for them and they're recently moved to the shed - next destination is a skip that I have on the driveway.

I hate throwing stuff out that could be someone else's treasure so PM me if you want to rescue this collection.

Also, I have the two Porsche booklets below that may be of interest.

I'll happily post the Porsche booklets but the magazine collection will need to be collected.

I'm not looking for any money - I'd sooner see them have a home rather than coming to a sorry end at Thornton's Recycling.

    EDIT: I'm in Terenure, Dublin.
