Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Plans are as follows, depending on permits and permissions:

    Nov 14th or 21st, (depends on restrictions being lifted as planned on Friday 13th) Down Royal Racecourse Under age races for 10s, 12s, 14s and 16s plus 5k and 10k.

    Dec 5th Maze Long Kesh site - rescheduled event that was due on Oct 24th, will re open soon for new entries. I will post here when it does.

    Dec 19th - Down Royal Racecourse Under age races for 10s, 12s, 14s and 16s plus 5k and 10k.

    Dec 29th and 30th - Maze Long Kesh - 2 day festival with marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k on 29th and on 30th Wheelchair races plus Under age races.

    So event did go ahead on 24th as planned but organiser said it was cancelled here.

    We always planned the original event on the 24th would be centred around Tommy's attempt to break the record and beat the 2.30 barrier. Then when we were called off due to the restrictions we went to Plan B which was an invite only race on the 25th at another venue to let him try there. Invites were only sent to those who had entered the original event. We had to keep it quiet as we were forbidden from having spectators and had to keep it to only 15 persons including the officials.

    We went for the 25th as the weather forecast was better for the Sunday rather than the Saturday.

    Event was cancelled, invite-only race went ahead. Only 9 or 10 runners I think.

    It cannot proceed on the 5th of Dec due to the new restrictions announced last night by Govt. These would end on Dec 11th.

    I have an event booked for the 19th at Down Royal so am looking to see if we can utilize that date and venue for the entrants from Dec 5th.

    We will update the FB page and send out emails once we have a clearer picture.
