Thunder and lightening strikes for over an hour in Donegal. Accompanied by massive frigging hailstones. They're saying its going to get to minus 3 up here tonight. Is that a possibilty?

Very windy here in North Tipperary : temperature feels mild and according to my car it is 6 degrees celsius now.
No rain to speak of but there were some light rain showers earlier.

The current weather conditions remind me of the same weather conditions 18th - 25th December 1998.
Back then we experienced the same conditions that we're experiencing now.

Highest wind speed today so far recorded is 61.9kmph. Might need to move my anemometer because it seemed much stronger than that!
