I am far too proud. One of my worst faults.

Too good for everyone and everything.

Get a cleaner. I know a lazy fu.ck who pays some Polish one to clean their house. I'd sooner sit in filth than have someone clean up after me.

Needless to say I usually am surrounded by filth.

We both work full time with 2 kids, I leave money on the counter and a key under the mat, a girl comes in once a a week and has the place spotless when we are at work. She is glad of the money and I’m glad of the service. I then spend my free time playing with my kids and not scrubbing the floors.... win win all round for what’s essentially the price of a take away...
People have weird perceptions of people who use cleaners, I’m anything but lazy, I work my ass off and make sure my kids have great memories of time spent with me. Someone offers a service to assist me with that, I’d be mad not to use it.
But if you enjoy sitting in filth... well that’s a different story

Depends. Probably not a great lesson for your kids and cleaning up can be good for fun and discipline. Utopia can be dystopia. But our society and economic setup requires such a setup. For better or worse.

I'm not a proud person, and there's very little I won't do for a fair wage. I've worked some pretty unglamorous jobs over the years: fairground worker, shelf-stacker, night-porter, cloakroom attendant, fruit picker but I'd sell my hole in the Phoenix Park before I'd work for Fianna Fail.

Aragh, sure she's just a failed Fianna Fáil-er.

Sinn Fein don't even let their TDs take their full pay, they'd fail the "fair wage" test. ;)

I sometimes like to watch Made in Chelsea... my guilty pleasure - but I would not admit this to people in real life..
