Hi folks, We are sale agreed on a semi-d in a recally nice location and one thing I want to check out are the neighbours and how much noise there might be in terms of TV volume, people talking / arguing, etc! I am wondering how many of you are looking at this before buying, or did so in the past? I've already done some…

There's been talk of sound-proofing walls and work on joists, but in my experience, the ony solutions that work are:

* Wax earplugs, not foam
* White noise - eg Sleep Sounds app on Android.
