    I am not sure if anyone mentioned but just hire a sound pollution tester to come and test.

    Never knew these existed must look into it cheers

    There's been talk of sound-proofing walls and work on joists, but in my experience, the ony solutions that work are:

    * Wax earplugs, not foam
    * White noise - eg Sleep Sounds app on Android.
