Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Man, they're delaying this so much that I just don't care anymore. It'll probably be excellent, but I'm sick of waiting. I've now turned off everything TLOU2 in my head until it has actually released.

you could probably cyrogenically freeze your head until it comes out if you had the money, I know I would

At this rate they may as well wait for the PS5 to come out and release it

It may well end up being a launch title. With PS4 getting a scaled back version.

Technically, they can't delay something that never had a release date to begin with.
A 2019 release date was always a long shot.

You can either release something when it's ready or rush it early to market. I wish it was tomorrow but if it's early in 2020 that's fine for me.

Agreed. Plus the Xmas period is always a busy period anyway, especially if Death Stranding is being released early November too, another big single-player PS4 exclusive. Better to space them out a bit.

I can wait if it's going to be good. Plenty to play in the mean time.

    If it becomes a PS5 launch title I'll be cross cause I only bought a PS4 for TLOU2 :D

It'll be the PS4 swansong like the original was for the PS3.
I just hope it's not boring like the last uncharted. I've still not finished that :o

Yeah, Uncharted 4 was a bit meh. Looked beautiful but there was a lot of cliff jumping filler in it.

Just throwing this out there though: The Lost Legacy, despite a more throwaway plot than the mainline games, was a surprisingly thoughtful and compact evolution of the formula established in the previous games, and bodes well for Naughty Dog being able to experiment without losing what makes their games so memorable...

Probably a poor choice to pick for my first Uncharted game as it put me right off playing any of the others.

I'd agree. It's much more streamlined experience than 4.
It cuts out lots of the filler ****e

Did not enjoy U4 either. Just too much story which wasn't good and interfered with the actual gameplay... which when present wasn't all that much fun.

Hope Last of Us 2 is a much better balance between gameplay and story.

Not played Lost Legacy as I keep for getting it exists.

I picked up Lost Legacy in Cex at the weekend. I completely forgot how absolutely gorgeous Naughty Dog games are. Feels like this is what the latest Tomb Raider games should have been like. The combat is fairly weak and just want to get past those sections asap to get back to exploring.

Anyone with a thirst for some Last of Us, it's 12 euro in Argos atm. I picked it up to finish off the brilliant multiplayer journey to get my platinum. It's a risky mode though as you can lose progress so I jumped into my last save point for some practice. Financial District....on Grounded.... And I couldn't remember any buttons. Had to look up the controller mapping online.

Looking forward to the multiplayer again, hopefully not coming against elites as the journey for each faction is a grind of you're not having good games.

I remember why I stopped my Grounded playthrough, Jesus that is just no fun at all. Got to the armoured truck with machine gun bit, sneaking my way through before it forces me to deal with a wave of enemies where I have 4 bullets,1 bit of health left and no medkits. Not fun.

On topic, when do you think TLOU 2 will release? Spring 2020 is crazy, summer is always dry and Q3/Q4 should see new consoles unless they have it as a launch for PS5 but also PS4 release as well.

ND are aiming for Spring but it could be summer.
The Last of Us for the PS3 was released in June of 2013 (5 months before the launch of the PS4).
There is still no release date for ghost of tsushima. I'd expect that to be released before the PS5 is released too.

Watching some of the youtube videos of aggressive gameplay on Grounded and it's so impressive how good these guys are at it! Now there's no doubt they know the game inside out, throwing grenades around corners before enemies even arrive, and they also know that you need to have a certain maximum amount of bullets in order for enemies to drop new bullets. But still impressive viewing!

I'm perfectly happy with them delaying the game, when the storyline is so important there is absolutely no need to rush it

Ashley aka Ellie, said she thinks it will release in Ffff...

Foolhardy attempt to steal some of Untitled Goose Game’s late September thunder tbh :pac:

Will this mean they'll confirm the release date? I can then plan the suspension of my reallife life.

I really need to get my ass into gear and finish the first one! It's more than a year since I got distracted from it half way through, wonder whether its worth starting again from scratch - how long's an average playthrough start to finish?

I was the same. I started again from the start simply because I forgot all the controls and to be honest probably the story aswell. I took my time going through it and It took around 20 hours but well worth it. Hopefully I’ll play it again before part 2 comes out.

I'd definitely recommend restarting, there's a lot to remember and if you're like me, you'll get annoyed at not knowing how to shiv a clicker at the right moment :D

Will be super disappointing if they don't give a release date. I'm gonna be super optimistic though and predict a November '19 release date :)

Realistic date, I'm gonna say February '20. Hopefully it's not late '20 but then early '20 is already jammers.

What's already coming early '20? Off top of my head Cyberpunk and Dying Light 2... what am I missing?

That would be super. If not then I'll go play the first one again until 2 is released.

Any odds of it being a PS5 launch title?

Seen a few rumours this evening saying 28 Feb 2020. To be taken with the preverbial pinch of salt mind you

Those 2 and Final fantasy 7. Maybe bloodlines 2 if it reviews well. Those should keep me going until Q3.

If it comes out in 2019 I will rip my testicles off with excitement, I can't see it though :(

All 3 videos so far have been 19 seconds long. Surely that confirms a 2019 release date??

Also, it's great watching Sony Devs have the craic with each other.

The 19th day of the 19th month (Smarch) of the 19th year (2019) confirmed.

Will be a great antidote to that lousy Smarch weather.

Could be a 1/9 release which is 1 September. Can't see it being the 9th of January. Or it could mean nothing :pac:
