Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Civilian, a student to be more precise. Have an interest in joining AGS or becoming a paramedic later on in life. Failing that I think I'll go to Baltimore, join the BPD and become a poster boy for Jameson whiskey.

We got married and left the DMA for the young pups. We believe in thinning out the herd to encourage the survival oof the fattest, fastest, fittest.

Is Mc Gowans gone out of favour? If ever there was a place to limit the gene pool, that was it!

You must be a detective eroo with them reasoning skills! :)

Ya its why i joined the company waiting for them to take a recruit class on when the re-structuring in Dublin finishes in the next six months hopefully.

Alot of investment being pumped in (captor spray, monadonk hindi batons and new Hi viz Tactical vest)and they sent training instructors off to the British Transport Police to align standards with them so these are positive steps and hopefully they will have recruit class in the autumn possibly but who knows.

    Here's Hoping!

Sorry, I worded that wrong. As far as I know, 24 potential emt's started and 23 are now emt's. I'm open to correction on that now but I'm nearly sure that's what I was told

yes but from the CD's point of view, they technically dnt like it because , in times off emergency i will be with ags and not working with them(CD), are you catchn me?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 923 ✭✭✭djtechnics1210

Does that mean you could technically be in the rdf so
Do ya get paid in the cd???

Roger....thats a bit silly. I know a lot of serving members, myself included that are members of Coast Guard, RNLI and Inshore rescue services.....all frontline services. CD is second line, no reason why AGS members cant turn out when finished shift.

ye true true, but surprisingly the cd does a fair bit of ambulance work 4 the HSE, check the CD website there if ye want more details on that, im talking like emergency in the form of natural disasters, nuclear accidents, plane crashes etc etc  lol
