    Me, me, me...

Leaving Yaniv aside for a moment, do you think trans people in general deserve respect? Or is respect something that you only like to be on the receiving end of?

Trans people deserve respect, they're people. What they don't deserve is to have the rest of the people forced to take part in their fantasy. A biological male doesn't need a gynecologists no matter how he identifies himself. What he needs in maybe therapy to help him cope with the fact that he is not a real woman and he will never be.

There needs to be a clear distinction between the gender a person identifies as and is legally allowed to have recognised and their biological sex.

The two are quite distinct. I think there should be two designations. One legal and one biological.

    Not really.

I think that you should be able to define someone as a man or a woman depending on their gender and then whatever they define themselves as is nobody's business except their own.

Except the law recognises their wish to change genders. Legally.
If this isn't going to change then their needs to be a new biological recognition.

Personally I don't think the law should recognise many people's wish to change genders.

What business would a man have going to a gynecologists office out of interest ?

Maybe he wanted to read the magazines:)

I completely disagree with that law and have no intention to obey it.

It's not really a win for trans people.

People may be compelled to refer to them as their preferred pronoun, but they are still the gender they were born

as far as I know 'self ID' has been a thing in Ireland for a few years, just wondering is there 'many' availing of this? has there been any issues with it so far?
I haven't seen any Irish cases highlighted in the media, that I can remember

quick google brought up an article from nearly a year ago:

And 'they' will always be plural to me.
No single person should ever be referred to as 'they'.

Last I heard he still has male physiology, so a gynecologist is of no service to him.
I have no experience of the trans community but this numpty must be doing some harm with his behaviour.

I don’t see why I have to accept being disrespected any more then trans people have to accept being disrespected but your “me me me” comment implies that you think I should accept it.
Can you tell me why you think this?0

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a gynaecologist is trained in dealing with a woman's vagina....!

A trans person who was a male and now identifies as female doesn't have a vagina! They essentially have a penis turned inside out.

By all means go see a specialist who knows what they are doing and is trained in dealing with a trans persons body modifications.

But go **** right off strolling into a gynaecologist and demanding to be seen, you don't have a vagina and never will you twat.

The origonal article stated than yanev had been " referred" to the (or maybe a) gynaecologist,
I assume that means by another medical professional... I could understand the gyn in question saying sorry, not my area of expertise, and passing the buck on to someone else, but there are ways and means, and you don't say "we don't treat your kind" to anyone...
(initially I thought the whole thing was a wind up, but who knows)

A person with no female anatomy hss no business seeing a gynaecologist. End of.

Like sending someone with no eyes to see an otolaryngologist.

It would still be appropriate as this professional deals with areas of the head and neck.
You could have said Optician ,makes more sense.

None of this nonsense makes sense. Literally.
A man complaining that a gynaecologist wouldn't see him? When is the crazy train going to stop?

Yanniv though still retains their male physiology, and therefore could only wish to waste a gynaecologists time for their own amusement.

He does overreact like a woman in fairness.

Perhaps he wanted his amenorrhoea investigated.

Yaniv has a fantasy/fetish that they have a functioning vagina and female reproductive system complete with periods, as well as a penis. This person is delusional and expects everyone to play along with this fetish and is using the law to try and compel people (usually women) to do so. The spitefullness and rage that comes out when people dont play along is scary, this person is clearly a danger to women and children (who have also been targeted by this pervert) . Or they are a massive troll.

So your eye analogy made no sense. Somebody with no eyes could need an otolaryngologist.

A obgyn or a bus driver would be equally equipped to consult Yaniv about his NON EXISTENT menstruation and his NON EXISTENT female reproductive system.

Because he is NOT a WOMAN.

Nothing else matters here. A man without a vagina, ovaries, uterus etc thinks he has any business with a gyno. He doesn’t.

He is an ugly fat man pretending to be a woman in service of his perversions. He’s a man. 100% a man.

Ah, buddy, I haven’t defended Yaniv at all in this thread.

I was pointing out that the poster’s analogy doesn’t work because somebody without eyes CAN visit an ear, nose and throat doctor.

Conversation about trans stuff in general really shouldn't be allowed in threads about this piece of shlt. Few people are so universally hated.
